I've always used Pitch Meter for pitching and man, this year, I can't throw anywhere near an accurate strike so far. I literally threw 15 straight balls with 3 different pitchers. Is it just me or does this need fixing??

@Catman9186_PSN I have not experienced this. I have always used meter and I haven't noticed any difference this year.

The issue with Meter and most of the pitching options is you have to be really accurate. I used to use Analog pitching last year and it worked really well.. Even if it wasn't perfect, the program would be somewhat forgiving. This year, I feel that it has changed so much that unless it is almost perfect, the chances of it missing and going right down the middle are pretty high. This is so much so that I switched back to pinpoint..

Who knows if this is true or if we are just using really weak pitchers to start, but it does seem different

Online or Offline? Offline I have not noticed a ton of difference. I have been using Bob Gibson a lot and he only has 67 control so I don't try and target the border of the zone exactly.

I’ve used meter pitching for 25 years I’m not changing now haha, but the RPL is very frustrating when the game wants you to give up a bomb

Pitching is significantly less forgiving this year and I’m on board with that- to an extent. It’s right back to the problem of defaulting to the outermost part of the PAR…which was an issue in 23 or 24 I believe. I’m all for punishing missed spots but right now missed spots are an insta-red dead meatball. Frustrating, but more incentive for me to make sure I got my spot

    1. the ump is GARBO. 2. pinpoint is so broken; perfect releases are still so inacurrate. hopefully they release an update helping fix some of these...

Meter for me. Pitcher's POV, offset. If I miss the mark, I blame myself.
Pinpoint looks like some etch-a-sketch session 🤪
Meter seems the most natural, where you can 'take something off' pitches. It's hard to explain how it's done.
