Why does everything load forever?

I move to a different menu and it takes 10+ seconds ON NEXT GEN! I move to a different section in D it takes 10+ seconds when I move up or down or left or right it takes over 10 seconds and its obviously annoying the fact it loads for 10+ seconds when I only pressed RB or move my left stick in the menu like WHAT. In MLB games before 26 there was never loading when on the menu. Hope SDS does a hotfix for the loading bug and overhauls the menu ui soon.

Most of the issues is due to the connection to the servers. The more overloaded they are the most delay you'll have on your menus.

Come on now man. You are right that 10 second is not that much, but that multiplies very quickly when navigating between the menu tabs.
The issue is the fact that the menus require the game to connect to the servers, whether to gather the most recently acquired cards or your most recently played game modes.
It was not a bad idea on SDS part but for a game that regularly has server issues at the start and every time a major content drop happens it probably was not the best choice.

Wait they still haven’t fixed this from last night? Took me 2 and a half minutes from progress to TA to Rockies. No shot it’s still broken, right?!

how come these guys have never improved this in the last 10 years or so.
I remember in MLB 17 just to cycle your inventory through each team look like a minute to load.
