Linking
-
I have my main mlb the show account for mlb the show 26. My game kept crashing and I couldn’t even get past the starting screen. I made a second account and the game works perfectly fine on the same Xbox. If I unlink my main account from mlb the show and link the secondary account would I keep my team in diamond dynasty. Or if I bought a ps5 and linked my ps account to the mlb ts account would I keep the same team?

Talked to the team about this and my understanding is that if you would need to keep that Xbox account linked in order to continue that progress. If you were to link a new PS5 (assuming you don't already have one linked), you would be able to continue that progress.
There's also the issue of what's causing your account to crash out.
Linking issues can get confusing. I'd recommend reaching out to support if you haven't yet and seeing if they can offer any insights.
Hope that helps and I didn't add to the confusion.

EDIT: Here's something you can try that has been known to resolve this issue in some cases:
Clear Local Saved Data: Go to your Xbox dashboard, select the game, go to "Manage Game and Add-ons," then delete the "Reserved Space" and saved data (choose to delete from console, not cloud).

I reached out to support and they r acting blind to it a just saying that it’s the game file and it got corrupted. I’ve uninstalled multiple times and I have cleared cache millions of times. Sometimes it lets me in then I get to diamond dynasty and it kicks me out loads freezes then crashes. So it can’t be the game file I’m hoping they can do like something on their side
