Nick Madrigal is the new Future Stars headliner.

That card is going to be pretty dirty considering what his Prospect card is
-
I thought his prospect card swung a wet ramen noodle

His card was unsuable for me. Absolute trash exit velo with perfect/perfect fading away 250ft. I'll take someone without the speed for better results than that

What’s the point though? Are we just going to get a Future Stars card for every single diamond prospect that was released?
Incredibly lazy imo.
-
Pretty underwhelming
-
Sounds like they're running out of ideas
-
Not a good choice on that team
-
Madrigal being a 95 all but confirms that stage 2 is going to be 90+ Future Stars cards imo.
-
This is RIDICULOUS! This makes zero sense whatsoever. He already has a card, virtually the same. What are they doing? If they are doing a White sox player why wouldn't they make Eloy? I am so confused

Eloy will be the White Sox TA card.

Are you ready for all 30 TA cards to be juiced prospect cards?
Yeah but this is being released in packs so... I’m confused now.

Watch then put vlad jr future stars and tatis jr future stars too that'd just be hilarious
-
So they're making cards that came out a month ago or less irrelevant already.
-
I guess the next round of TA will be future star cards with 90-92 overalls

In the initial tweet, they said 30+ Future Stars cards.
So 30 for TA, a couple for headliners, and maybe some others from somewhere else.

Yes, he is a pure contact hitter with no sign of power and has really good to great speed. He will be similar to a Tony Gwynn at best or a better average, less k's, and also a less speedy version of Billy Hamilton.
-
I love the Madrigal prospect card. Very consistent bat for me. And to whoever said he swings a wet schlong or whatever ... he’s a defense/contact/speed prospect. He shouldn’t be hitting nukes.
-
I am so confused. Nick Madrigal already has the prospect card, which as an 85-plus is already a generous ranking. Why give another card of prospects? I understand trying to think outside the box and give us more content since we're all sitting at home, but I don't get this. There's going to be 1 per team but this is a headliner? An 95 Madrigal is the same overall rating as the current Mike Trout. Are you saying you project that Nick Madrigal will one day be as good as Trout now? What in the world? This is all so weird.

Only 4 homeruns in his entire minor league career is pretty terrible. Not to mention he only had a 114 wRC+ in Triple-A.
The dude isn’t going to be anything special at the major league level.
He can barely get a .100 ISO, so he doesn’t just not hit homeruns, he doesn’t get any exit velocity at all.
