Playing against the Yetis all day was a blast.
Thanks. I'd nearly forgotten about the Yetis.

I miss time where hitters didnt foul 14 pitches on rookie

After last patch I swear to god rookie has changed, I grinded rookie to bang out the conquest map quick and they threw 3 balls to every strike all the sudden. And we’re hitting jacks. I’ve grinded conquest for a month on this game and it was not like that. I use conquest for my daily missions and TA innings and bang it out on rookie or veteran always to move fast. I was cursing st the tv last night “this is not rookie!!!” Lol

There is always that one at bat, usually the second batter in the first , he starts fouling and I know it’s going to be like 9 pitches for the at bat. Sometimes I’ll just bean him and move on

Especially CPU pitchers. They will foul everything and never chase anything even an inch outside of the zone.

Somethings definitely changed in the wrong direction...I’m playing mostly “steal” games vs cpu in conquest on rookie to earn the 1 fan, and to get innings for players. I have gone several times over the last week or two to 8-9 innings of one run or two run games. I’m certainly not the best at playing this game but I can normally bang out 7-8 runs in three innings vs cpu in rookie

I give it three foul balls and then I’ll bean the CPU so the pitch count doesn’t get ridiculous.

Along with the CPU never throwing strikes, they have incredible discipline at the plate. Won’t hardly ever swing on anything even remotely outside the zone. (And sometimes watch too many pitches in the zone). I’ve had strikeouts against CPU where they didn’t even swing once.
And the amount of homers is kind of silly. (Really overall, the amount of homers to others hits/scoring is out of proportion). In a conquest game the other day on veteran, Angels Brandon Marsh hit a first-pitch fastball on the very upper outside corner for a homer off Yates to tie the game in the bottom of the final inning. Pulled a homer on the upper outside corner
-
And yeah, there are those occasional at-bats where they foul every thing off and you know a hit is coming.
Anyone also notice an uncanny ability for CPU pitchers to throw pitches perfectly at the very top of the zone where it’s a strike and not a ball?
