    Murphy, Kendall, Hornsby, Fisk, Cobb, Olerud, Puckett (one year only), Yogi, Peavy, Buhner, Reynolds have all been in the game as legends. In my opinion, Hornsby had the best card of all of them.

    @the_bane_event_psn

    Kudos on an excellent list. I always love these even if they don’t make it to the game it’s just fun to read the names and remember. Man, I loved the Braves back when Murph played for them…even though they were pretty terrible…half the team back then looked more like they belonged in an issue of Field & Stream rather than Sports Illustrated lol but I digress.

    Seems like Dale Murphy started out as a catcher if I remember correctly but because most of his throws to nab runners ended up in centerfield they just went ahead and moved him on out there so they could get some actual putouts with that cannon he had. Great hitter too, of course. I was so bummed when they sent him to the Phillies that I became a Mets fan and have never pulled for the Braves again…..and of course that’s when they won the division about a hundred years straight without me haha

    Great list - thank you for the effort good sir

    Carl Crawford would be a good one to have , especially with his kid expected to be the Phils starting center fielder this year

    Good list. Ty Cobb should obviously be in the game. Jose Canseco 40/40 card would be one of the best cards ever. It’s ridiculous.

    I like playing the earlier players and would love to see more of the history of the game through them. Campanella was on my wish list so that’s a good start to the legends announcement. Pujols was my favorite player growing up and a living legend. Nap Lajoie is an overlooked legend. Ty Cobb and Rogers Hornsby were in the game before I started playing DD and that would be awesome to have.
    I’d add- Joe DiMaggio, Enos Slaughter, Tris Speaker, Shoeless Joe Jackson, Mel Ott, Dizzy Dean (btw, where did all our early pitching legends go?!), Sandy Koufax.
    Does anyone know when to expect the next legends announcement?

    I'm guessing because not many people used them, long wind ups likely get some of the blame.

    @The_Bane_Event_PSN Love this list. My top 2 are Caminiti and Kevin Brown. I’d love to bring Peavy back after just his 1 year as a legend. Other Padres I’d like to see are Winfield, Benito Santiago, Terry Kennedy, Andy Benes, Andy Ashby, Joey Hamilton, Randy Jones, and Akinori Otsuka (would be great for some throw back WBC cards).

    I would also be thrilled with a Benny Santiago card. They would need the animation to have him throw from his knees however!
    Side note... I was never a great IRL player, but I was good at 2 things: bunting, and throwing guys out from my knees as a catcher. I practiced that SO much because of him. 😆😆
