Great Point!!
Nobody seems to care though. Everybody is just telling them to release MLB 26 info. Of course those same people will be the first to complain about something else when the 26 info does not meet their expectations.

50 doubles is really just random guys off a list. Its not interesting team building.
Low power could be fun offline, but no one is touching that online. Most low power guys, including Arraez, have moonshots anyway -
I know it's very late in the cycle, but I'd still like to see a "Live Series" captain. We had one of those in the past (Castillo maybe?) and I used that boost a lot.

@nymets1987_PSN My only method is to actually make them the captain and then look for the arrow in the top left corner of the cards in your inventory to see if they qualify.

There's an option in the roster search for 'Boosted by Captain'. You just have to make sure you only have one captain enabled at the time. Otherwise, it'll return cards for both at the same time without distinguishing

Who would any release be for at this point?
While I am the first to bang the drum for Legends to get their due there are actually none left that will move the needle for the whole community. All the big names coveted by the whole community have their cards already.
There is no reward left that would encourage players back. Now or Later program may help a little as it gives people a jumpstart on next year. Nobody wants them to hold back Mantle or Mays until January. I had to wait so long for Musial and Brock as it is that I have barely used them.
At this point I am hoping the live series team is huddled in meetings planning out a better release schedule next year. Better Team affinity. Have plans and backup plans to account for happenings during the season. have better plans for all of the Legends. Figure out ways better distribute players who played for multiple teams.
As an example of the latter: While Matt Holiday had better years in COL (and deserves those cards), he played more years in STL. Since he was added to the game in 2023 he has had
- 11 Total Cards
- 7 for Colorado (all diamonds)
- 3 for STL (2 diamonds and a gold)
- 1 for Oakland (a diamond)
- His only Cardinal card in the last two years was a gold on release day of 2024.

No Bob Feller yet is starting to annoy me. Are we losing him for next years game? We are losing way too many old legend pitchers. No Lefty Grove, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, etc.
Also it would be nice to throw in some diamond home run audio calls for us trying to complete collections. Impossible to finish right now. The lack of stadiums all year too is a big drop of the ball since so many never finished and never used the new stadium they added this year. Seemed like an utter waste.

Luis Arraez just got his second Padres card of the yearIt was expected that Piazza was getting a 99 Met this year since he didnt last year. So maybe release a low 90s Carter for them and give the 99 to the Nats? His best years were for the Expos...

Loved that boost for using different bullpen guys who don't have a better card e.g. Justin Topa.
