New Cards for This Week - For the 2 people who still care

Yeah they been out a couple of days. Something cool is McCovey combined with Hal Newhouser card they both get double boost. Also McCovey combined with Mariners pitcher is fun because some good lefties on that team. Randy gets +18 BB with Woo boost and can control easier.

@Dolenz_PSN

I assumed we’d get a holiday themed Bobby Grich card for Christmas

I mean, its been a while since theyve given us a showdown...

As long as I can buy bother cards for 200k or less a piece I will be happy. The Candle man is a decent switch hitter. I dont see anyone using Noel.

Another Captain Blizzard Drop today
Jim Rice - Righty Captain
Anthony Santander (YES!) - Venezuela Captain -
Why on earth is that Santander a Blue Jay? A guy who hit .175 should never get a 99

Just glancing at these I, as usual, have questions...
I know everyone will be happy with Santander ( a switch hitting power guy) but why Toronto? He played 54 games with them, batted .175 and only 1 HR. Plus Toronto got a bunch of Postseason cards. Probably should have been a Baltimore card where a 99 makes more sense.
As for Rice, always happy to see a HOF player get a 99. Of course Boston already had five 99 overall outfielders and the 4th most cards in the game overall. They could have chosen
Ralph Kiner
Tony Perez
Al Kaline
Mike Cameron
Ryan LudwickAll whose best cards are either equal or less than Rice's best card.
At this stage it doesn't really matter but I do still wonder how these decisions are made?

Oh look, I get to P5 my 4th Bregman of the year:
-
I wondered if they were going to do a holiday bundle this year. Bregman was notable in his lack of a 99.
Although that is two Boston 99s today which adds to my thought that Rice could have been substituted for one of the other righties without a 99
I do feel like they could be more generous at this stage. For example every Silver Slugger this year has had 99 overall cards except 2. Six of those players had two 99s. Meanwhile the two Utility Players who won Silver Sluggers do not. Alec Burleson has a 94 Spotlight card from June and Zach McKinstry only has a 79 live series. They could have been thrown in. Maybe also give a couple of finest cards to some of the Gold Glovers who may play for teams that need more cards
