JOE CARTER Roberto Alomar Fred McGriff Olerud
-
Alomar was in and got taken out because of personal issues. Doubt he'll be in ever again.
-
McGriff is an odd one not to be in.
Olerud is in the unpopular mold of high average lefty 1B, but he was so absurdly underrated when he played. Probably deserved the MVP in 1993. Hes Keith Hernandez with more pop and not quite as godlike defensively, but still exceptional.

I hope the changes to bat to ball physics mean contact hitters will be useable now.

All four of those guys were actually in The Show 20.

I knew Carter, Alomar and McGriff were in the game recently, wasn’t sure about Olerud though.
I wouldn’t mind David Wells, he was a great pitcher and seemed like a good guy. -

I mean aside from being a functioning alcoholic, yeah
-
So that makes him a bad guy?
-
Like we don't have problems.
-
The key word is “functioning.” Didn’t he pitch a no-hitter (or was it a perfect game) while under heavy influence?
-
He pitched a perfect game while with the Yankees. When he visited the stadium he would sit out in the bleachers so he could chill with the Bleacher Creatures. I believe you can still catch him out there sometimes.

Boomer is the man. Didn't have overpowering stuff, but was never afraid to challenge hitters and definitely a big game pitcher.
He pitched for a good amount of teams as well which is great for card diversity if he ever gets added to The Show.
