Are the Dodgers "Ruining" Baseball?
-
They’re not ruining anything. The Dodgers are just playing by the rules. Don’t blame them. With that being said, I do think they need a cap and a floor. I refuse to go to a game and pay the outrageous prices. It’s only gonna get worse.
-
I totally agree. They need a salary cap and floor.

You do realize that ticket prices and player contracts are only tangentially related. Ticket prices are high because demand for tickets is high (unless you live in Florida or Central California.)

I can promise you demand is not high to go watch the Twins

Funny/Ironic/whatever that of the 9 teams ranked 19-27 in attendance, 7 of them are Central teams. The outliers are the Cubs (#7), Brewers (#12), and Detroit (#16).
Those two divisions really are the garbage dump of MLB. Sorry.

The only people who think the Dodgers are ruining baseball are teams that suck and arent willing to spend a dime. Every owner has the money to spend they just don't spend it. And this a coming from a Phillies fan. Who just got my heart ripped out 3 years in row,with the issue being that Dave Dombrowski don't want to spend money.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN I’m sure you’re correct. I stand by what I said.

There's a difference between paying money and PAYING MONEY, which is what the Dodgers are doing. That and they have great weather and they have a playoff spot almost guaranteed. But other clubs are paying money. Look at the Giants, who got the best player in baseball next to Ohtani and who would have been in the playoffs if their pitching hadn't collapsed. They had a great bullpen in the first half of the year (which they even crowed about), but it didn't hold up.

So, you're referring to Willy Adames and putting him right underneath Shohei himself? I'm confused... -
