What Needs to Improve for MLB The Show 26 Diamond Dynasty

Yes, everything you said. Team Affinity killed it for me this year. That’s always my favorite part of the game. Having a free voucher exchange and no playable content for the All Star and Finest killed this game’s momentum.
This game needs a severe overhaul in how it’s played, Diamond quest had a lot of promise but making it moments and showdowns before 2 inning game made it boring as sin.

My ideas for DQ
- When you fail to get a card your earned progress (% boost) carries over to the next run
- You have choices when you land on an event square: For example a choice of 2 of the three: moment, showdown, 3 inning game
- Give the player a bit more agency elsewhere as well. Instead of just a random debuff, give a choice of accepting a minor debuff, or losing 2% towards your progress in exchange for a diamond buff

Troy Tulowitzki, Jose Reyes, and Jose Fernandez are must legends to add for me.
Also ADD MORE CREATE A JERSEY CUSTOMIZATION PLZ! Would be could to recreate or change some of the city connects or make different ones for my teams using the patterns. And where’s a basic camo pattern that I can chose the 3 or 4 colors to make up that pattern then make my logos and stuff (and add my logos to the sleeves and back of the collars!). -

any player that has played for that team gets a team captain boostI think I like this. So for example, the HOF Vlad Sr card could be boosted by not just the Angels captains, but also the Nationals, Rangers, and Orioles captains. Is that what you are thinking? This is especially helpful when a player gets a card early in the power creep with lower OVR on one team and then gets a 99 on another team later. Some theme teams may be so unbalanced with options at positions and available cards. My Angels theme team has no Lefty bats now that the new Taylor Ward replaced Rod Carew (Ward in LF, Baylor to 1B). Would be nice to put an Ohtani in there somewhere! It could fill a lot of holes in a lot of people’s theme teams.

The downside to the 'every team a player has played for' thing will be cases like Manny Ramirez for the Rays. And it also might encourage them to make less cards.
I don't know what the answer is for guys that should have high 90s on multiple teams though. Like the recent Sheffield card could easily have been a Braves or Marlins card. Nothing seems to anger some people more than a player getting multiple deserved cards.

I think they should focus on getting a lot of cheap legends this year. We already have most of the big legends people want, so get a bunch of guys who had 1 or 2 exciting years (Chris Davis, Tim Lincecum, Wade Davis, people like that)

This idea here MUST be implemented if they want to make DQ accessible to those of us who play on AllStar and below. An absolute must.

One Season (or two) wonders! -
LS 90+ Diamond drop rates need boosted. Theres no reason, with less than 4 mos left in the game cycle, that LS Judge and LS Ohtani still are at 500K/300K.

I would say they should focus on guys who had good years for multiple teams, but then Reggie Sanders fits that mold as well as anyone in recent MLB history and they just gave him two Reds cards....
