So, I just made a post going over what I liked and didn't like about MLB The Show 25 Diamond Dynasty - spoiler alert, there's a lot of negative topics, but now I'd like to go over some ideas I have that can negate a lot of those negatives that I and a lot of he community have:
    More Legends (Obviously)
It's honestly sad how games like NBA 2K, Madden, and NHL have absurd amount of legend players, compared to SDS' measly 250. I also love how few they lose per year, compared to SDS' annual 10 or so legends that abandon ship. I update my legends list every year, so we'll see who gets added next year, but there better be some big names.
    New Card Series Ideas
Let's be real, the meta cards are usually either one of these 5 card series: 2025 Finest, Finest, Milestone, Awards, and Signature. It gets bland, repetitive, and boring. Nobody is saying get rid of any of these card series', but I am asking for some new ones. It would give content a refreshing look. I have some ideas like Payday (Juan Soto 765 million), Runner-Up (Matt Kemp 2011 NL MVP), League-Leaders (these players shouldn't be highlighted in Milestone), and One Season Wonders (Brady Anderson, R.A. Dickey, Adam Frazier, Rick Porcello, etc.). Bringing back old ones like Incognito, retro HRD and ASG, 42, and Prestige would be great.
    A Revamped Gameplay Engine
If SDS wants people to continue playing this game online, gameplay needs to be a top priority right now. Hitting is so random, inconsistent, and mindless, and it often seems like the better player loses due to poor game logic. Check swings clearly don't abide by any rules, ball-to-bat physics don't even apply to physics, and 99 steal Elly De La Cruz getting thrown out by live Agustin Ramirez or picked off by Edwin Diaz should be criminal.
    A New Online Game Mode
I like the idea of something like a salary cap mode. Let's say you have 35 million dollars to spend: 99s cost 5 million, 94-98 cost 4 million, 88-93 cost 3 million, 84-87 cost 2 million, and anything 83 and below cost 1 million, and you have to strategically build a team based on these restrictions. This is like a combination of Battle Royale and Events into one game mode that involves team restrictions, and strategically using lower overall cards. Also, please bring back good rewards for Events and BR. Ranked/Weekend Classic being the only online game mode with player rewards above 97 overall is unacceptable.
Return to the Divisional Team Affinity Model
This is a big one. The way Team Affinity was executed this year was embarrassing. The fact that there were only 5 diamonds for each team over 7 months is laughable. The voucher collection is just a lazy to way to give out content. Returning to the old divisional would make a lot of people happy and was just better than the singular team model.

I wonder if a series specific affinity program would be a good idea.

WBC is the perfect example: There should be 50+ WBC cards in inning 1 next year so why not have some type of affinity where you can get progress in many different ways: you can play a mini season for vouchers, or maybe you win online games, Showdown worked well for this in the past, etc.

The other big obvious one is Negro leagues

I liked the idea behind the vouchers in that you could earn points for something before it was released. But the execution could definitely be tweaked.

One suggestion: for the ASG series, have the voucher be for a retro ASG card for the specific team. You then use that card (and other various program tasks (moments, missions, collections, etc) to get the current ASG card.

This gives you the immediate earn AND something to earn after the drop.
