What happened to baseball?

What happened to the days where you saw singles, doubles, and the occasional triple mixed in with homers to a win or loss… All I have seen is “nothing” or “home runs” my Swing pci can be off by half a bat widths and receive no results, and then other times I can be off by 2-3 bat widths and it’s a homer… A recent example of f-ery, is I literally lost to someone 3-2 and their only 3 hits were homers.. No singles, no gap hits, no down the line anything, just strikeouts or home runs… It’s been this way for some time now…
