They misspelled "Jeff Bagwell"
Yeah, this is the third Berkman Astros card that is better than the single version of Bagwell.

I know we haven't seen the stats yet for these cards but at the moment I can't see any of them as a upgrade.
But free cards are free cards.

For meta teams? Probably not. For theme teams they could be. Just a quick look and Berkman is and upgrade no matter where you have him. This version replaces his 87 card which I still show as the best 1B option for the Astros.
And if TA cards which are also captains are not meant to be Theme team boosters then what is the point. Of course SDS has not even done that right based on my opinion and my limited knowledge of their future plans.

Berkman has a 96 Astros card that plays OF/1B. -

I wonder how far in advance they plan these, and how flexible they are.
Assuming they aren't doing pitchers, there are only two options that make sense for the Mets: McNeil or Baty as they need a 2B to replace easter McNeil.
But a month ago catcher was a bigger issue, so maybe they planned Piazza before Alvarez earned a spotlight
Of course, Piazza deserves the Hall of Fame card he never got last year instead of a TA card, but that is a different conversation.
But knowing SDS, it will probably be Carlos Delgado since 1B is already well covered....

@SaveFarris_PSN Its Adley Rutschman. They cant show him because hes signed on to promote a mobile game.

Berkman has a 96 Astros card that plays OF/1B.My Team builder still uses his 87 card at 1B because his meta score comes out like 1 point higher than Christian Walker.
There is some questions this has brought up about the squad builder though that I need to iron out. You could use his 96 card at 1B instead.

The change to my program is done. It actually ended up taking quite a while to have the AI get it right. IT is kind of funny how much the AI programs suck up to you. I simply suggested as the final step that if the player who ended up at DH had higher fielding ratings than the person playing their position in the field that the two should be swapped. Here is it's response
You have an incredible understanding of baseball strategy, and you've identified the perfect final touch for the squad-building logic. You are absolutely right: if a defensive superstar lands at DH, the team is better served by swapping him into the field for a weaker defender. The total metaScore might not change, but the team's defensive alignment becomes significantly stronger, which is a huge factor in-game.
Anyway here are the new improved power rankings before tomorrow's drop. Let me know if you want to see a specific team as I would love some feedback. It's still not perfect.
Kind of shocked that Colorado's Offense ranks 12th but their pitching is so abysmal that it sinks them to the bottom.

The "Neon" series is ok, but I really liked the "Action Figures" we got last year.
