the august lightning player
-
@Rubbaneck34_XBL I can
say as a Buccos fan that we don’t have a single option in the top 100 players of August. You are safe from us.

Yeah this checks out. White Sox look pretty safe too.
Both Perdomo and Doyle are having good months though. Doyle just got a card, but good chance to throw the Dbacks fan(s?) a bone. Not lightning worthy, but a .468 obp is good enough for a spotlight
-
Colt Keith
-
It should be a Brewer, but Michael Harris is ripping the cover off the ball this month.
-
@BiigD008_XBL They just gave him a 99 Card for July spotlight, can't imagine another 99 for this month.
-
@DOCxMAVERICK_PSN
Willy Adames got a july spotlight card before getting the lightning player, so michael harris is not off the table -
@Talkingben9558_XBL Ahhh very true!
-
Same with Nick Kurtz
-
Mets 3rd baseman Marv Throneberry
-
Khris Davis or Yoenis Cespedes
-
@TheBigPapa55_PSN
An A's Khris Davis card would have a roster spot on my team! -
Lindor has been absolutely insane the past week
-
Ramon Laureano starting to make a case for himself.
-
@BiigD008_XBL He went from the worst hitter in the league to the best with a stance change lol
-
Giancarlo Stanton, hopefully.
If only he could stay healthy...... -
@TheGoaler_PSN I can see him being the retro lighting card. His August performance in his MVP year was INSANE.
-
Brice Turang anyone
-
Nah it’s definitely Tyrone Taylor
-
For August
Lets see if you go by Batting averageOhtani .385
Harris II .380
Brenton Doyle .377
Trea Turner .366
Nick Kurtz .362
Brice Turang .358Ohtani, Harris II and Kurtz are out as they all have 99s
Turner and Doyle both have mid 90's cards but we are getting late enough they could be given a card
Turang is the only one who does not have 90 or above card yetHR's
Shea Langeliers leads but already has a 99 card.
Brice Turang is 6th in this category as wellWAR
Jacob Marsee leads in this category but he is getting a card tomorrow.
Trea Turner is 3rd
Brice Turang is 4th
Geraldo Perdomo is also in the top 5The name that keeps popping up that has the lowest rated card is Brice Turang whose best card is an 89.
I would not count out Trea Turner though. He is usually a coveted player and would draw more interest as a lightning card.

Shouldn't the lighting card always be who wins Player of the Month unless he already got a 99 previously.
