No "teasers" for the collection today?

Bautista is so underwhelming -
So weird to have a legends and flashbacks collection drop on the HoF day....for a guy that isnt remotely a HoF guy.
I dont understand why they waited to drop all this AFTER the weekend was basically over. Waiting until the ceremony is pointless

Well for the HOF cards they obviously have to wait until they are actually inducted.
And then I assume they waited on the collection because some of the HOF cards/collection will be required for the new Bautista collection.

Hate they drop Manny and a couple days later the big collection is Bautista. Would have rather seen a pitcher like Johnson or Carlton.

How about no collections minus the big ones like we used to have?
I personally like this model and I don't spend money on this. It benefits those who grind and those who spend money and makes me acquire more cards that I wouldn't otherwise.

It benefits those who grind a specific mode, and most of the people who do it play the game in a cheesy way. Draft conquest has given a second method now, but its still pretty inferior to the first. Its a LOT more fun though.
In 2023 I would earn far more cards from actually playing the game, and I could actually earn the cards needed for the collections instead of resorting to stubs to buy them (although I typically bought the event cards, thats the way it should be: use stubs to do content that I didnt want to do)
Draft is a good model if they want to go pack heavy: if I want to grind the collection I actually can but it would be time consuming enough that most people would dip into stubs if they wanted Holiday quickly. Doesn't even have to be day of release, can be a month after to squeeze more stubs out of people.

Bautista is so underwhelming. Very disappointed. When you think of the 99 possibilities. I thought an All-Star Acuna, David Wright, Randy Johnson, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, John Donaldson, Satchel Paige, Jackie Robinson, McGwire, I can keep going. Jose Bautista isn’t even on the radar. I think JD Davis would have been just as exciting. Kinda brutal. Worse than mid.

Remember last year u could just grind and earn all of the hall of fame players? This year lock a few behind a collection
