Everyone assumes Suzuki will not be in the game BUT in last live they said new legend and they have the rights to my knowledge to all the others accept him so maybe it is smoking the hopium but I think there is a chance he might get back into the game this year.

@blitz77tw_PSN I thought The Show had the rights to everyone in MLB which would include HOF'ers. Could be wrong, maybe you need to negotiate with the individual.

No they don't. They have a license deal with the MLB Players Association which does not include retired players.
That is why we have the limited numbers of legends that we do. Believe me they would love to put players like Joe DiMaggio, Rogers Hornsby or Sandy Koufax in the game. They are not just holding back those guys for no reason.

Ichiro has deal with Power Pro Baseball in Japan; legally speaking, we won't see him in the show this year.

@dbub_PSN I agree, I can't understand why it has to be in sync with the ceremony ending. Just release it or wait until Tuesday and release it at the normal time.
