    I hate to see this game going down the Madden path in the past 7 or 8 years. So many issues I could mention, but the recent tomfoolery this game committed was a game I lost yesterday to a guy I outhit 5 to 12. I gave up my 3-1 lead in the 7th inning, after shutting this dude down all game. A fastball I located outside the zone and had a release that was off only slightly, was inexplicably placed down the middle of the plate... BAM! 3 run home run. One of the two baserunners he had on got a dinky ground ball hit on a ball way inside and the other guy was gifted a walk. SDS randomly decided it was time for my pitcher to throw everything as a ball. I'd locate the ball more inside the zone when I saw this happening, but the balls still fell outside the zone, even if I had a good or perfect release. This highlights why there are game-scripting allegations. Anyway, I ended up tying the game in the 9th. Then in extras, my pitching accuracy was nerfed again. I couldn't throw strikes, so kept getting into deep counts. My opponent was given a few more dinky hits that would eventually hand him the win. This isn't the first nor will it be the last time I've felt this game do everything in its power to prevent me from winning. It's worked in my favor before, but against me on way too many occasions as well. It's to the point, I'd rather take out all the "baseball authenticity" like bad ump calls, random errors and dinky hits the player did not earn and just get back to finding out who the better player is... not who caught more breaks / took advantage of whatever nonsense they were given.

    Now, to the list:

    The List (feel free to add, if I missed anything!)

    1. The only thing that's consistent with this game is how inconsistent it plays.
    2. Freeze offs are still a thing. Same problem, different year.
    3. No tattoos. NBA 2K + WWE games have been doing it for years. SDS has the $
    4. Outdated graphics. Last big update I remember was The Show 17.
    5. Same animations for YEARS (sliding, fielding, diving etc)
    6. Diamond Dynasty doesn't have option to create alternate uniforms (or have sleeve patches!)
    7. Removing features, likely to unveil as new down the road like EA does w/Madden
    8. Pickoffs are random. I've had Elly get picked off on more than once after taking 1 extra step in my leadoff even though I didn't input a steal request. Meanwhile, I'm struggling to pick off Pete Alonso with the same leadoff.
    9. Check swings are random. I often see a disparity between myself and my opponent. Sometimes it benefits me, other times it benefits my opponent.
    10. Errors are random. Sure, you have the option to prioritize fielding stats, but even then I've had Pete Crow-Armstrong commit back to back errors that had nothing to do with me not controlling my player properly. Something that has nothing to do with player control shouldn't be deciding who wins or loses a game you've spend 40 minutes playing.
    11. Sometimes I'll swing at a pitch in the zone (with timing), but my batter will only check swing, costing me a potential hit.
    12. Franchise players largely ignored.
    13. Road to the Show hasn't really evolved.
    14. (Highly subjective) people are in competitive matches with each other but aren't playing the game the same way (strikezone hitting, pinpoint pitching) This creates a lack of balance and there's no option to play people using your settings. In a recent game, I switched to Strikezone (which I've never enjoyed) just to prove a point to my Strikezone using opponent (who could not miss a pitch) that it was easier. Even without being used to it, I was quickly able to see balls and strikes better, get contact on pitches I couldn't usually get contact on and getting hits, whereas I wasn't before.
    15. Too much focus on gaming trends and getting people to spend money. Prioritizing bat skins, bat flip animations and unrealistic cards like ones that turn Brian Roberts into a power hitter.
    16. Legendary players are largely the same over the years. It's the only thing they have to sell new games, so they take their time getting names like Jeter or McGwire. 17. Of course, once you get guys like that, they'll remove names like Ichiro or Roberto Alomar so they can use them as selling points later on.
    17. Stadium Creator doesn't work all that well.
    18. Excessive Home Runs!!! It's like they forgot that baseball has singles, doubles and triples too. I'd say 50-60% of hits I give up are home runs. Not in obvious locations either. I have pitches 2 feet from the dirt getting jacked, pitches that are a foot outside etc. Sometimes can't tell if I'm playing Slugfest or a simulation.
    19. Stealing is also fairly random. It can be very easy to steal with someone like Pete Crow-Armstrong or Elly De La Cruz, but on occasion they'll get stuck in mud on their way to second and get thrown out, without a clear reason as to why that happened. It's just pure randomness.

    I'm sure there's so much more lol... but I think this is a pretty good start.

    Just to be fair, here's what I think the game does well:

    1. It's easy to earn packs of cards so you don't have to spend real world money... just need to grind a little.
    2. Collecting cards and trying out new lineups is fun.
    3. It's nice they have a create a stadium mode.
    4. The crack of the bat sound is a nice addition.
    5. The foundation of this game is rock solid. This is the closest I've seen a game come to replicating baseball. I remember a time when no one would get walked.
    6. 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 can be a lot of fun.
    7. Supercharged cards are pretty cool.
    8. Home Run Derby online is fun too.

    @SDS_JoeK_PSN This is the same post that got locked two or three days ago because this guy insults people who have opinions that are different than his. He also complains about his posts getting locked out and getting banned, but he comes right back with the same shenanigans with his posts. May want to keep an eye on this topic since each time it gets out of hand.

    As per your message before the previous thread was locked, I made alterations and changes to my original post. Am I going to continue to be silenced by people who don't like my opinion and discredit my experience with the game?

    @sbchamps17_NSW on what grounds? once again expressing an opinion you dont agree with? people should be able to express how they feel weather bad or good without the constant "i dont agree w it and here we go again can we just ban them?" how bout we ban you? how many posts have yu made and how may have anything of substance but to say the same things to people you dont agree with? its kinda pathetic

    @vinnis1_PSN you obviously missed his last 2 posts on here that have since been locked, all he's done is complain and call out people for saying that they still play this game

    It goes both ways. People keep engaging him so he keeps responding and then it just devolves into both side sniping at each other.

    When I realized the OP was not interested in actual discussions then I just bowed out.

    Honestly, people can do as they wish and at this point he’s posting the same thing on repeat and doing it to trigger the same people. They can flag him whether you like it or not.

    One must wonder why every topic the OP creates gets locked and through his own admission, why he gets banned. There are plenty of complaint posts in the forum that does not get locked and those people don't get banned. Over the last couple of days, there have been numerous complaints about the game. Some of these complaints are backed up with logic and some were stretching the truth a bit. Most, if not all of them, have invoked conversations that also include differing opinions, yet those conversations remain civilized and don't get locked and no one gets banned. No one else, that I have seen, has complained that they are being silenced or that their forum "first amendment right" was being violated.

    There must be a reason why it always seem to happen to one individual but not to everyone else. Hmmm, why is that?

    Appreciate you guys!

    @SDS_JoeK_PSN

    I see at least 7 replies, many from the usual suspects, trying to bait me into responses to get the thread locked and me suspended (with @sbchamps17_NSW straight up calling for a lifetime ban. He straight up admitted he didn't read my post and then went on to make assumptions to back up his call for a ban.) I hope the enforcement of behavior goes both ways, because right now I'm not entirely sure it does.

    Well, the OP created another post that he created a few days ago that ended up getting locked. Creating multiple posts of the exact same thing could be seen as spamming (especially after it has been locked). Other than that, there is nothing anyone has typed that has violated the TOS, so I don't see a reason for SDS to ban anyone else in this forum just because the OP has admitted that he was banned in the past. SDS not banning other people (in this topic or any where else) who have not violated the TOS should not be seen as SDS not going both ways with the ban hammer.

    @dap1234567890_PSN is going out of his way to hijack the thread and says virtually the same thing every time. I haven't seen him reply to a single point I brought up, and he's focused on discussing anything but the topic at hand. The thread isn't titled "What do you dislike about me and things I did in the past?" Just to be clear, he's not violating any rules by doing this?

    @Squid_Adams_PSN Hijack because I made comments? Ok. 🙄 👍
    I thought you were all about "first amendment free speech rights", but I guess it's only for you and no one that has a differing opinion. However, I have not violated the TOS, so I am allowed to make posts. There is nothing wrong with what I have posted in this topic. Seems like you are "targeting" me again like you did in the last topic you made that was locked up.

    This all reminds me of a video I’ve seen on socials, I’m sure many have seen it as well. An old woman keeps going to her neighbors house complaining that his backyard light is shining in her house and it’s annoying. He went to her house to see what the problem is and nothing there, but yet, she keeps coming over to complain. Finally the neighbor realizes that there’s something else to this, so he comes up with a plan. He told her he felt that she must be lonely and that he’d be more than happy to have morning coffee with her and listen to her talk about whatever she wants. Guess what, complaints stopped and he felt good about helping an older neighbor.

    You remind me of the neighbor complaining over nothing. If you’re lonely and need someone to vent to, please feel free to DM me, I’ll listen, I’ll offer advice (if you want), but mostly I’ll just listen and give you an avenue to vent so you aren’t getting yourself all worked up and combative. If I’m way off, tell me to go pound sand, just trying to offer a different avenue for you, since clearly this options isn’t working out. I’m here for you bud!!

    While I do appreciate the gesture, I don't think I'm the right person you're looking for. I'm a lot like you. I'm a keen observer of human behavior. Just one example being a steak dinner I had with family around New Years Eve. I saw an older gentleman at a table with 4 seats, but was there by himself. Every table was occupied with families, couples and friends, but this gentleman was the only one by himself. It kept nagging at me before I placed my order, all the way up to getting my food. I invited the gentleman over to join us, though he politely declined. On his way out of the restaurant, he stopped by our table and thanked me again for the gesture. He then told me his wife had passed away a little more than a week ago. This isn't me donating money to a cause or anything like that, but not having tunnel vision, observing people and being an empath could go a long way to directly impact someone.

    That said, there are legitimate problems with this game, so could never classify it as "nothing." But I'm going to focus on what I liked about your post. I hope you do this in your regular life as well!

    @yankblan_PSN
    I think that's only needed for @dap1234567890_PSN at the moment. I'm on my best behavior and exercising discipline not to take his bait.
