Oh, I'm sure I'll get suspended for this. Just like you're putting on full display, the world is full of softies that don't know what unhinged behavior actually is, so I'm sure I sound like Dr. Evil to some people here. Then you have the adults who know better. I'm cool with this hypothetical suspension, just as long as you join me. I've tried staying on topic, acknowledging someone who had a well thought out post instead of some reactionary man/lady... but you keep trying to drag it down so it DOES get locked. And me wanting you to make a friend is not a bad thing. Pull yourself together. -
@Squid_Adams_PSN So you are admitting that you are intentionally violating the TOS and should be banned because you can't help but go crazy in an online forum. You admit you have ben banned for this same thing in the past and you keep doing it. You can't figure out that you are the cause of your own problems and want to blame everyone else. You keep responding but with stuff that you admit you should be banned for and then want to blame me for you getting banned and having your topics getting locked. But again, I guess I need to repeat myself over and over again to you because it doesn't get through your thick skull.

I think we've talked about your reading comprehension before. Perhaps it's time for that conversation again? I was suspended for little to nothing the first time, why would it be any different this time? I see this on forums all the time. There's always a guy (in this case, it's you) who wants to distract from the point of the thread because they disagree and/or get their feelings hurt. The more back and forth we have, the likelier it is the post gets locked because it's gotten out of hand. You did that with the last thread, you're doing it with this thread. I'm sure you're flagging it like crazy too. As a logical thinker, it's not hard to come to that conclusion. But hey man (Or lady? This is a post about what's gone wrong with a once great series. Let's stop focusing on me. I know I'm charismatic and that will always put you on people's lips, but someone took the time to write a compelling reply and ya'll are pretending like it doesn't exist. It is you and only you that gets you banned and locked out in this forum. There are many things you can do to not have these issues, but you choose to disregard all the common sense and double down on your stupidity. Then you wonder why it is always you and nobody else here. You seriously got some anger issues and just some common sense issues. I think if you fixed your common sense issues, you may find that you would not find yourself with these issues that gets you all riled up and show fits of anger. Only you can fix yourself, but you have to want to fix yourself. However, you are to obstinate to get yourself out of your own way. Keep doing you because obviously it works well for you!

Anyone can read the forum and see you are the one that initiated all the pain you brought among yourself. I also find it funny that you want someone else to fight battles for you because you know you are the problem! Love that you want to admit that you are a "rat", "tattle tale", "snitch", or whatever else you want to call you what you are doing!
Even if they oblige you, I wouldn't come on here and complain that I was banned like you! You are obviously upset that you have been banned (and probably for good reasons) and you come on here to complain about it, and then you want to try to share the pain! You are a joke!

For the record, anyone whom I have blocked the account of no longer has their comments appear before me. So, there seems to be a large section of this thread I have not read and I guess I benefit from that fact!

It's no secret that my niche love of The Show is in RTTS and Custom Stadiums. I just enjoy playing virtual baseball games because in my sixties it's as close to playing actual baseball games as my body can handle! To those who don't understand that, don't worry, in time you all will! LOL!!
Same for me! (though to be fair, it's more about the lack of resources to get a game together) This is my baseball fix and half the time I don't even recognize the sport I grew up loving. But listening to Goose Gossage and Gary Sheffield interviews, it appears baseball has begun to change for the worse. Rob Manfred is absolutely horrible. He makes Roger Goodell look perfect.
I do think the majority of my issues are due to the nature of online play. However, I don't see the point of a card collecting game if I'm just going to play the computer. The idea is to put your team to the test against other people. RTTS also has some issues where it feels like the game pushes me into slumps and then allows a hot streak after so long. The more I play The Show, the less fun it becomes, it seems. That's what makes me angry. I know the foundation is rock solid and I've never questioned if I like baseball or not... but the game has been disappointing me for close to 10 years now. I'm a huge baseball video game player. SNES all the way through now. I've never felt this negatively towards a baseball video game. The blame can't just be with the people who don't understand the game the same way others do. It's so close to being a fun game, but often regresses into something rage-inducing.
But yes, gameplay aside, seeing so many problems that haven't been addressed is unforgivable. That's something I expect of EA and Madden, but SDS / The Show were supposed to be different. They always touted how they were the most critically acclaimed sports franchise, now they're slipping into Madden territory.
Exactly. There's not much they can change from year to year... so why not focus on quality of life things like that? Or continuously adding new announceable team names? Or giving us new classic stadiums. Or a new logo creator that is easier to use for people who don't have a degree in graphic design. Or custom walkup music. Etc etc. They've become lazy and complacent like EA and 2K.
People may not be ready to rake them over the coals to the degree I am, but they don't seem to want to hold them accountable for ANYTHING. That's a recipe for an inferior product. If they don't care, why would SDS care?

They can read and they can see what was typed! You asked for it, you got what you deserved...every single time! You want to say SDS needs to take responsibility for what they do, but you never want to take responsibility for your actions! Then complain when you get what you deserve!
Wait...Wait...What happened to me being the SDS forum moderator??? So if I'm the moderator (or an SDS employee), why would I ban myself (or SDS ban their own employee)??? Oh yeah, that was just you trying to insult me and basically name-calling in an extremely poor manner!

You are delusional! You just come up with canned responses that make no sense! But agan, you proved yourself to be non compos mentis from the beginning!
Look forward to your complaints later next week that you aren't getting your way with SDS as usual! You know after you get your message of "Sorry you have hurt feelings, but there is a block function you can use!" from SDS!

That said, there are fair criticisms to level. I have seen over five years bug reports issued first with MLB 21 that have gone to this day unfixed. Folks, there's no excuse for that! And I'm talking about basic functions not working properly, like stadium seats in custom stadiums going from their assigned colors to pure white or most recently grey for no good reason, spoiling the look of stadiums already blanched of life by deliberate efforts to ensure they are trapped in relative degradation.
I want to highlight this again, because this is related to what the thread was started for. It reminded me of something that happened in WWE in recent years. I'm not as big a fan as I used to be. I was all about the Stone Cold Steve Austin days. Slowly wrestling started to turn into something I didn't recognize, a'la what I'm talking about with The Show. I still had love for wrestling and wanted it to be good again (much like The Show), but that didn't happen for a long, long time. I'd pay attention here and there, usually around the time of their biggest events. (and I used to watch every event.) But then, I discovered CM Punk and if anyone's familiar, it was right around the time he was the hottest wrestler in the industry. I saw WWE fumble that entire storyline which lead to him walking out of the company for 10 years and returning to the stale, childish product they had been putting out since the Chris Benoit incident.
Finally, the fans started doing something about it. CM Punk walking out, combined with elevating part timers over popular top talent made the fans revolt. They started to hijack shows, start hashtags etc. The heat got pretty extreme, and ultimately the fans started getting what they wanted again. Then AEW started and was legitimately popular for a few years. That competition forced WWE to step up their game and ultimately benefitted the product because of it. Are they at the level they were in the 90's? No. And frankly, I don't know if them selling to TKO is going to be a good thing. It seems like things are kind of regressing under their watch. But for a time, fan complaints and competition lead to WWE becoming a more interesting product after years of stale and bottom of the barrel entertainment. I would love to see the same thing happen to The Show, but sadly it seems there are too many people denying the game's problems / fighting against it improving. As long as people are steadfast in them going down this wrong direction, I fear I will never get to play a quality baseball title again.
