A series of players with questionable reputations or

Shoeless Joe, Pete Rose, Buck Weaver, Hal Chase, Trevor Bauer, John Rocker, Even Ty Cobb or Leo Dorocher make the collection reward someone like Steve Howe

If Pete Rose is in I want Wander Franco and Felipe Vazquez back. Hell let’s get Sergio Mitre while we’re at it.

    A. How is Joseph Belle not on the list?
    B. They'd never do it for fear they'd be accused of "promoting" the very figures MLB wishes they could sweep under the rug.

    C. A more funner-er collection would be the Investors Club: players that are still on MLB payrolls as of 2025:

    Vinny Castilla
    Bret Saberhagen
    Mark Melancon
    Lorenzo Cain
    Ryan Braun
    Matt Holiday
    Manny Ramirez
    Dustin Pedrioa
    Chris Davis

and the collection reward: you know him, you love him...

@theBlindRhino_PSN I wouldn't put any gravity to any statements made by Bertolini when Dowd was paying him for information. Anyone can make an accusation, especially someone trying to avoid a long prison sentence. Dowd knew the accusations required verification, but never provided anything more than the statements of Bertolini. Ty Cobb was accused of child abuse, beat a disabled man in the stands at Tiger Stadium, was also directly accused of fixing games, and depending on who you believe, was having an affair with his mother and shot his father, depending on who you believe. And was the first person ever inducted into the Hall of Fame. So, a simple accusation should be viewed as that.

We have the documentation (and Pete's belated confession). This is not an unresolved issue.
