Game is Awful

Someone dialed up the censor button. It’s now censoring any words that combine to make what it assumes is foul langue. Look at @Dolenz_PSN last post “May[censored]ting” (Mays hitting). We aren’t elementary school kids, this is getting a bit crazy!!

Interesting to accuse me of insulting people on this forum. Other than telling someone they’re a goober once and or odd you completely fabricated that lie or you’ve got the wrong guy buddy.
I looked at your last 10 posts and 4 of them were about insulting people. If you want to lie, make it believable.

I will say if you come from Madden, you have lower expectations of a game and gameplay. This game is light years better. I am not saying that should excuse SDS from having to step it up, just saying EA and Madden have set the bar low on sports games. I don't have to spend money at all in this game to put together a great team. That is not the case at all in Madden, all the best cards are behind a pay wall.

@m_caraballo24_PSN how bout the smoked [censored] rockets right at infielders? I swear it happens like 5 times per game.

@Talkingben9558_XBL
Besides telling a troll he’s odd when he constantly butts in on people’s criticism you are incorrect and completely wrong. Nice try and quit fibbing it’s silly man. Move on -
@m_caraballo24_PSN Which game? MLB?

It is pretty crazy how many outs I get on perfect perfects. Today I hit a perfect perfect with Willie Mays - fly out at the fence. I hit the same pitch next time at bat with Mays and it was “good” contact and “slightly early” - no doubt HR lol
Why don't I see that out listed as a Perfect in the game log? It does not show May[censored]ting a perfect/perfect in any of the three logged games. I think I glanced at like your last 8 games and did not see a single perfect perfect out.
Perfect Contact Hits (Perfect-Perfect)
Schmitt: 104 mph (Schmitt homered to right (438 feet). 1 RBI)Perfect Contact Hits (Perfect-Perfect)
Seager: 107 mph (Seager homered to center (453 feet). 1 RBI)
Schwarber: 109 mph (Schwarber lined to center for a single. )
Rolen: 111 mph (Rolen lined to left for a single. )
Judge: 106 mph (Judge homered to center (492 feet). 1 RBI)Perfect Contact Hits (Perfect-Perfect)
McCovey: 111 mph (McCovey grounded to center for a single. McCovey advances to 2nd. )Sure, it happens. I am not denying that but I don't think it happens nearly as much as people claim.
Never let the facts get in the way of a good lie.

@The_Joneser_PSN I laughed way too hard at this….thank you.

@m_caraballo24_PSN well if your judgment of intelligence is based on your spelling and grammar, you’re in big trouble.
Also this post you started is just a cry fest, no solutions just crying because I’m guessing you lost your last mini season game on rookie, so you came here congrats.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN thank you. Is it frustrating? Absolutely. If you played baseball at all, heck just through High School, you understand this is part of the game. The only people who don’t understand this (for the most part) are people who have never played baseball except on their (insert gaming system).

It's the worst It has been for years. It's a video game. Good input should win 99% of the time. Reality is good contact hardly gets you anything in this game. The developers are making millions though. They couldn't care less. As long as the turds keep playing and spending money
-
@SavageSteve74_PSN -- Thanks for this callout. We'll look into this.
-
I just threw a 1 hitter in the classic and lost 1-0. It’s not just you bro.
-
@platewelder_363_PSN But that 1 hit was a HR. You only had 4 hits and twice you were thrown out trying to take an extra base. 1 of those 4 hits was a bunt single too. Your opponent had the only perfect perfect out of the game. Looks to me like he outplayed you.
-
@GoozeFn_PSN did he though? He wasn’t really close in 26 at bats. I got thrown out at third trying to take an extra base. The only reason I went was cuz the CF had trouble picking up the ball…..AT THE WALL. So yeah, I went for it. Guy had 66 speed. Should’ve been enough. It didn’t work out. He won so hats off, but does getting lucky and running into one mean I got outplayed? Btw, the pitch he hit out was supposed to be high and tight but it carried over the plate. I put it where I wanted it. I didn’t miss time or anything. It just didn’t go there. It is what it is.
-
@platewelder_363_PSN Yes. Sometimes that’s how it goes. I had a bad weekend classic this time around. I wasn’t playing well, but I’m not blaming it on the game. How are you going to be mad about losing a game where you had 4 hits, 2 of which you ran into an out and 1 was a bunt hit?
-
@GoozeFn_PSN who said I was mad bro? I believe I just said it is what it is. Just commenting on some frustrations. I shall endeavor to play mistake free before commenting again. Sorry I wasted your time.
-
I’m really feeling this currently. I played 1 weekend classic game with a lot of the new cards with 100+ power, and good timing/good contact was a line out/flyout everytime. Dude won 1-0 from a solo shot.
Same with Diamond Quest today, everything was a lazy flyout good timing/good contact with the new Harper, Diaz, and Adell cards. Hate that it feels this bad going into All Star content, because I’m kind of turnt off from playing rn. Just feels too scripted like EA games.

Lol....some of the complaints about this game can be ridiculous but the show boys that constantly defend the indefensible (not saying this thread absolutely fits that category) are absolutely hysterically embarrassing. Face it fan boys, the game has major issues and has been in steady decline for about 4 years. It still has its appeal, and if you love baseball it still can deliver at times, but it's quest for the almighty dollar and lack of ways to build on the franchise has sent it into the all to familiar arcade style game nose dive. It was inevitable and it's ok, you'll meet someone else.....
