Tired of losing to lesser skilled players
-
This is nothing against other players and their skills. I play games where I put up many runs and hits all by making good contact and homeruns. There is no doubt in my mind that there is something built into this game to where the player who is losing gets a bunch of cheesy hits and scores around the 7th inning to the 8th. Then when the 9th inning comes around you’re now losing and nothing is landing even on perfect contact. It just sometimes feels so predetermined.
I’m sick of losing to [censored] magical diamond fielding errors in crucial spots and bloop hits -
That [censored] is out of control this year. Yep

@Cam8w_MLBTS, is there something built into the game that made you strike out 10 times in the 7th - 9th innings of the last two games you lost? Where was all that good contact that didn’t fall in? I noticed you mention “not even perfect,” but looks like the only late perfect you had was a single to left by Castellanos.
By the way, in those two losses, neither you nor your opponent made an out on a perfect/perfect in either game.
And that weak contact your opponent had? Was that in your last loss when your opponent hit a home run and two doubles in a 5-run, 6-hit 8th?
But you were better than him… despite the fact that he had a better record and a higher batting average.
Your game logs don’t support your stories.

Could you look up my game logs and coach me up the way you just did this guy?
I had to scratch and crawl my way to a 2-1 win, including using 99 Kershaw to save the game in the ninth. My only score came in the first!
I literally stole a game but hit a lot of solid balls directly to people when I had the lead since 1st inning. I’m tired of losing too!
I hate weekend classic. I’m out-classed! Lol

I was losing 3 to 1 until the 7th . I was barely missing . Dude probably thought he was dominating me , but i was guessing right a lot but just missing . Then i got a couple of hits and boom hr . And he quits . He probably thought what you think that the rng was favoring me to make an even game.

Yeah I don't think some people realize how predictable they can get with their pitching. Especially if they're having success and getting weak contact. But as you said you're guessing right but just missing slightly. But they don't know that, so they continue pitching you the same way.
More than likely you're eventually going to get it right and if youre using ambush hitting those weak outs turn into solid hits pretty quick.

I’m something like 30-9 online ranked and probably around 850 online right now. Several of my losses were to below average players that suddenly started getting the dinks left and right and my defense followed with errors. I get what you mean. Even if ur stats on the last couple matches don’t add up some of us hear you and get it man. It’s tough to deal with sometimes

I just lost to a guy who turned into the greatest hitter ever in the 9th. Hit 4 HR's in the 9th off 2 different pitchers when he couldn't catch up to anything. I don't even care about the loss, the issue I had was the game was laggy as hell. Still don't understand who thinks it is a good experience to match people from halfway across the U.S. Most people get matched with people in their own regions. Not me, I get Timmy playing from an cellar stealing his neighbor's wifi. I had just faced that pitcher the game before and knocked him out in the first. Couldn't touch him this game.
On a positive note I sold everything (jerseys, bats, topps now, spotlight) and finally got Ohtani. By far the hardest year for me to get collections done. On to Ted next which is going to take a while since I sold a lot of my spotlight cards.
-
Lol just take your loss and move on
-
Sounds like some people just aren’t as good as they think they are.
-
@Tylerslikewhoa_XBL such a waste of time bro
-
@Cam8w_MLBTS maybe you're just not as good as you think. I'm not saying it to be disrespectful but i have lost games, where i look at record (which i completely avoid now) then they show the stats that pop up, and think i got this in the bag. 8-4 later or whatever. It happens. I hate to lose. At the end of the day it is just a game.

@The_Joneser_PSN You just spent your own time looking up another man’s game history and then writing the Bill James book of analytics about it. That is SO CREEPY.

I was told there was going to be no fact checking!

I have looked up game logs before and I will again, especially when the claims being made seem outlandish ("every perfect perfect I hit was an out!!"). Plus it's easy to do when I am at my PC.
That said, I would not have checked it in this case because no game log will tell you who the better player actually is. When it comes to this forum though almost everyone claims that they are/were the better player who has never beaten an even better player in a game themselves.

I’m the best player on this game…with a losing record.

I’m sick of losing to [censored] magical diamond fielding errors in crucial spots and bloop hitsNot for nothing, but here's the box score from last August when the literal worst team in baseball history beat the ultimate AL champs.

@LookatTheRhino_PSN My point is that I can’t imagine caring enough about ANYONE on this forum to actually spend my time looking up game history and analyzing it. Seriously, If one of you hit the lottery - I wouldn’t care one bit. If one of you died - I wouldn’t care one bit. We are all strangers here, Who cares if someone embellishes during a rant? They’re just venting, Let them vent.

@Cam8w_MLBTS no denying this
