@Teak2112_MLBTS you’re right. My bad. I read the stats and somehow misread the walks. I still feel like they could give PCA some playable stats. He’s arguably the best CF in baseball right now.

He’s out there making highlight catch night after night like it’s nothing.

And occasionally forgetting how many outs there are and letting the winning run score from second on a sacrifice fly 🙂

It might come down to one game by season's end for best NL record, but I'll risk that as a Cubs fan. Everything PCA does on a daily basis (outside of that massive brain fart) more than makes up for it.

Also, you know how often that has actually happened this season across the league? Quite a bit. He's not the only young cat getting caught up in his thoughts out there.

@MRAD2010_XBL Too bad he can't remember how many outs there are in an inning. But hey you're right...he sure did catch the ball.

@trfatboy22_PSN someone else mentioned that too. I know it was a huge mistake but it was just that. A mistake. Doesn’t change the fact that he’s only 23 years old and easily one of the best players in the league. I’d still take him over 99.9% of most outfielders in the league. Judge and Soto are incredible but they can’t make half the catches PCA does on a daily basis. He’s a huge reason why the Cubs are so good right. Even in this game (the show) he can save you from what would be a base hit for most people to a routine out for him. .275 batting average,20 plus home runs and stolen bases is really good for end of the year stars and we’re not even to all star break. Also keep in mind he’s only 23 years old. He hasn’t even hit his peak most likely. Not to mention he hasn’t missed an inning all year long. He plays like he wants a paycheck and has something to prove while a lot of players come out of a late game with a lead to rest.

I'm not denying his talent but as a Cardinals fan without much to brag about in the last week, I had to get at least one little dig in.

Fun and useless trivia. I once was an extra on a movie called Little Big League, about a kid who inherited the Twins. His mother in that movie was played by Ashley Crow who just happens to be the mother of none other than Pete Crow Armstrong.

@Dolenz_PSN funny you say that because I just saw a video this morning talking about his parents being actors and how he wanted to be a ball playing and not follow in his parents footsteps. Pretty cool you were in that movie.

Here's the scene I can be seen in. Blink and you would miss me. You would also never recognize me while watching.

It was actually filmed in early November in Comisky Park. We kept getting shuttled around and sat in different sections for different scenes. There were very light snow flurries that day so it was cold. That is why everyone in the crowd is in dark clothes (and a lot of jackets). So being in a white short sleeved shirt helped me to spot myself. I had a jacket for between takes but was one of the few to take it off and stash it during the actual filming.

Oddly enough the other movie I was an extra in I got burnt to a crisp so two extremes.

@Dolenz_PSN that’s cool man. It makes for a good story. What was the pay like for being an extra in that movie. I know it’s usually like 10k or something, right? Also do you get a small percentage or royalties?

LOL. If I made 100 bucks I would be surprised. I think that at one time I had kept the paperwork, I wonder if I could find it. I know I got paid a little extra too for staying later and letting my car be in the background as they filmed the team bus leaving the stadium.
