@Dolenz_PSN James Wood deserves a spot. He is ranked 9th overall in my standard default fantasy league and 6th ranked in my buddies custom league with OBP and XBH added.

@MrHunterKiller_XBL was signed in with my Xbox account this is me. But yeah I agree with you, enough with dodgers. James has been more consistent than both of them and Soto even! Drafted a heck of outfield this year. Got Carroll, Woods, PCA. Speedy recovery to Carroll. Was having amazing season as well!

Fantasy league should not be brought up in an all star conversation, but Wood is a lock to make it as a reserve.
Hopefully the fans do the right thing and leave Teoscar out. I dont agree with Acuna either with only 100 at bats, but have less of a problem with him.
I'm guessing Soto is the Mets TA card with Lindor as a collection reward or Chase card.
I guess Cardinals fans are stuck with a repeat card, Donovan seems most likely and if not him it will be Gray

@Teak2112_MLBTS it should though. That’s how can keep up with the rankings instead of popularity voted on by fans that maybe aren’t up on the numbers. Or even have the fellow players vote would be better. But I guess MLB sees it as letting fans get involved. Could could cost these guys money through when re upping a contract and All Star on resume.

Fantasy baseball is based on real life stats so it has more of a chance to be accurate than fan votes

First of all I didn't say Manny did I. Although, at least to Manny's credit he leads National League 3B in WAR and Batting Average. Suarez has 25 HRs to Muncy's 13. 67 RBIs to Muncy's 53. Suarez even has the higher batting average.
But now you got me curious
Among NL Shortstops Betts is 7th in War. Behind Masyn Winn. But I am not arguing that Winn is a worthy candidate because the obvious votes are Turner, Lindor and De La Cruz
And there are several NL OF's more worthy than Pages and Teoscar. Corbin Carroll, James Wood, Tatis Jr.
So, you say fantasy league stuff and the stats they use is not a good indicator then please let us know what stats you are using and which you are dismissing to say that Muncy, Betts, Hernandez or Pages belongs?
But, I agree that any voting by any group is going to be biased.
The reason MLB does fan vote is simple. If they let the players with the most votes and popularity start then it is more likely those voters will tune in to the game. And after all that is their main concern Getting people in the stadium and watching on TV.
In the end it does not matter since the game does not determine home field advantage in the WS anymore. It's nothing more than a spectacle.

I take back Betts, his year isnt that great. Great defense, but not the hitter he used to be.
Manny and Muncy are very similar in both WAR and OPS. Manny gets more hits (which also gives him a higher slugging) but Muncy has a higher obp. Of course, people dont watch the all star game to see walks, Manny is going to win that vote and Saurez gets in as a backup
Tatis shows how WAR can be misleading: his defense is really bringing it up for a non premium defensive position. Really his year and Pages are similar in the same way Manny and Muncy are, but they play different positions realistically. tatis walks more, Pages has better avg/slg. Difference is Pages has the better ops too. Hes the better hitter at this stage in the season.
At the end of the day though, Betts, Edman, Teoscar, and Muncy arent going to make it unless they win the vote. Pages will get in because hes the second best CF in the NL this year (someone who can play good CF defense will make it as a backup) and Smith and Freeman will win their votes. Freeman doesnt deserve it over Alonso, but lots of people dislike Pete (for good reason honestly)

The whole all star thing last year for one. That was beyond gross, he had no business being on the all star team. The Elder taunting is another one people dislike him for.

This is why he won’t win the fan vote, and honestly, I agree with you and the fans. He 100% screwed over his teammate last year and robbed the MVP runner up just so he could continue his horrible quest at the HRD.

The Cardinals and cardinal fans don't like Pete because he threw the ball from Masyn Winn's first career MLB hit up into the stands.
I am sure he was just clueless but should he have been clueless about that?
But yeah, he even upset fans of his own team last year by insisting that he be put on the all star team if they wanted him to compete in the HRD. Since no Met had been voted in he essentially screwed over Lindor who was kind of the obvious choice to be the representative from the team. Good enough player but he just seems a little too self-absorbed.

I don't condone what he did,I think it despicable.
But if you think about it logically, he had leverage and used that for his personal gain, incredibly selfish,but is that any different from anything else that happens in this world?
I mean,that's the message of the last 30 years or so

@jisaksen2422_PSN it actually is though, may not take defense stats into account but pretty accurate. I used it to invest in players as well and make a lot of stubs. Can look at past 14 days and past 30 days rankings not just season.
