Prime Program

Mike Cameron wore #44 with the Mariners. Richie Sexson wore #11 with the Brewers. My theme team OCD will thank you.
-
I’m happy about the Kinsler and Sexson cards, however they also have captain cards. Kinda wish they would’ve chose other players for the prime program so I could still utilize the captain card.

Pretty good day for us Cardinals diehards:
Pendleton
Arenado
Kaat
BerkmanWrong uniforms but love it.
My theme team is all Cardinals but they must actually be a Cardinals card. Just my little quirk and allows me to use their captain cards.

Agreed.
I just want a Willie McGee.
But knowing them they’d make him an A.
They did us wrong on Rolen.
Don't forget last year... The Cardinals got one Matt Holiday card. A gold that was available on release day. They then proceeded to give the Rockies 3 Diamond versions of Holliday.
Pendleton's best card definitely should be Atlanta and this card is for his second best season so any chance for a Cardinals Pendleton is gone. But, I just got a good Arenado card I don't need another 3B with no secondary. Same goes for Rolen.
A contributor Berkman for the 2011 tem would be nice but with two cards already I am not counting on that happening.
If we were going to get a Jim Kaat card it might be Last Ride card but that boat has sailed. It would not be a high diamond. It would have been an early game gold.

Kind of hoping for a Carlton cardinals card.
Agreed on all points. They’ve dropped the ball on cards (as far as we are concerned) the initial Pendleton should’ve been a Cardinal rookie through 87 season but they did a Marlins for some reason.
The 99 Rolen being a Phillie is laughable.
I was surprised we didn’t get a Holliday as a Cardinal but we wouldn’t have used him anyway unless we wanted to get hit in the [censored] from fly balls. Brock is the way.

Rolen spent more years and played more games for the Phillies and won ROY with them but his best season (and highest MVP finish) happened in St Louis. At least with Rolen there could still be a chance of a Retro Finest 99 for his 2004 season which had his highest BA, most HRs and most RBIs
-
Rolen had his best season(S) with St. Louis.
His Cooperstown hat reflects as much.
His 99 should’ve been us but oh well.
Arenado card is better as is Pendleton.
Also if you want a badass short doc on Coke with Keith, check this out. I’m sure you’ve seen it but perhaps not. Lonnie Smith docu.

I don't really understand these Prime cards, whats the background behind them? I know theyve been in game a while, but Prime makes me think 'best', and for example the Sal perez card is for a fairly average year, nothing stands out about it
-
They’re Priming you to spend stubs.
-
Prime Day is coming

A Madman sees what he sees.
-
@Teak2112_MLBTS if memory serves, the way they explained prime cards years ago was a players best three year run. They don’t reflect an individual year.
-
I’m not really a big fan of the cards in the program but I really like Terry Pendleton and Varitek. They both have great swings. I like Michael Young but I don’t think he’ll have much use. The two closers Chavez and Iglesias are pretty solid. Other than that they can keep all the starting pitchers.

I have liked the ability to get packs without spending a ton of stubs. I completed the collection and only spent about 30k stubs. Being able to sell the lowest pulls for 5k made a huge difference with this program. I opened about 25 packs and had decent luck.
