The card art cracks me up, on one hand you have my favorite Topps year in ‘71 and on the other you have my most disliked in ‘91. Apropos of nothing.

My dad was a big Tom Seaver fan and he gave me the 71 Seaver card still in surprisingly really good condition. The 91 Larkin I personally collected. I was a huge baseball card fan as a kid. I have every set from 81 til about 95. I agree about 91 not being an aesthetically pleasing year for cards. Fleer had the bright yellow cards that looked like they were all made for the Pirates and Donruss had the primarily blue cards. The weird thing was Topps and Upper Deck had a very similar look that year. It might’ve been because upper decks first year was Ken Griffey Jr rookie card year and it was a huge card. People wanted the upper deck more than any other company that year. -

Hey, but for Red fans, that moves them for a tie with the Phillies for the 6th most legends and flashbacks in the game. The big question is will any of those Red fans will sit 90 overall Elly for a 95 Larkin?

Technically, I would call this content, not particularly compelling content, but content.

The hardest thing to do in this game is go 10-0 in BR and the rewards are always trash. What are they thinking?

I do enjoy pitching with Seaver but will never see him the way this game is. Add him to the other BR rewards, chase packs, Beltran, Hodges and Ted as cards I wouldn't see until October.

Another RED? 3 cards released today and two are reds? That actually pushes the Reds ahead of Philly in number of Legends and Flashbacks and puts them in sole possession of 6th on that list

@ANF_GOLD99_PSN If you can’t go 10-0 it’s pointless, which makes it even more difficult this year to go 10-0 because only the best players play that mode. I have no interest in it either. It’s just puzzling that the most difficult thing in this game offers awful rewards.
