Actually pal, your pea sized brain can't comprehend the simple fact that that is baseball. So don't come over here and act like your so tough and insult us when you don't know what the f**k is up because you are clueless. Also, by your hilariously stupid and futile attempt of debunking my accurate claim, nobody effing said that good inputs should always be hits. You did, buddy, so shut your mouth. Good inputs usually result in hits, however, real life does take place and sometimes find gloves. Oh, and, if somebody puts a good swing on the ball, it wouldn't be going foul, would it? Bad swings where your PCI so much as touches the ball results in a foul ball. I don't know what you're complaining about, but clearly, this doesn't penetrate your pea-sized brain.

And again you dense dumazz, I'm not saying every good input should be a hit.

Nuance really escapes you. It's truly fascinating. Why don't you go back and reread my posts because and try to get you goldfish memory to rember that this critcism is about horrible balancing between RNG and user input when it comes to swi g quality.

@Afromeister_XBL, nothing is negatively affecting the result of a person squaring up the ball (perfect/perfect is a "squared up" ball).

If this is your complaint, please share with us your stats on perfect/perfect contact. My guess is that your p/p stats will show an incredible amount of success, but you'll still insist that you aren't being "rewarded" properly for your preternatural ability to line up the ball with excellent timing.

Stop lying about things and insulting people who call your BS, and people will probably stop taking such umbrage with your posts.

Actually, you kind of are. First of all bud, before we begin, learn some [censored] grammar. You type like a two year-old. Secondly, let me summarize what you are saying. Bad swings result in too many foul balls and good swings result in way too many outs...

I love the bums who come on here and complain about how the game is against them yet don't know their right from their left.

Buddy, I would say that I could probably bust you on this game, but this game has no skill gap.

I could easily lose after having a 4-14 showing on hard hits, 4-8 on PPs and a 3-19 on good contact, while you make 5 good swings all game.

Any 1000+ rated player will tell you that the hitting this year is not only atrocious but has significantly lowered the skill gap, but I bet you like get handouts despite getting outplayed.

    Where's the lie dickhe@d?

Answer this question for me. Do you think good swings are punished more this year?

If you don't, not only are you wrong, but it's also not worth even continuing this conversation.

@Afromeister_XBL, here's another example of you believing things that aren't true... the myth about goldfish memories turns out to be just that; they can remember the route to food in mazes and navigate them quickly when they haven't been in that particular maze for several months.

Just another thing that you thought you knew that was actually wrong.

And yet again, complaining about the realism that should exist on MLB The Show. I don't get handouts, pal. I also suffer from a lot of PP outs and a lot of bad swings resulting in hits. THAT'S BASEBALL YOU DUMB [censored], Either deal with it or stop whining like a toddler

    best swings are punished

    Lie.

This game rewards bad inputs more than good ones.

    Lie.

The worst timings and worst pci placements get rewarded with foul balls 3x times as often as they are punished with outs.

Have data to back that up? Nope? Another lie.

squaring the ball up results more often than not results in outs.

Easily checked in your game history. Lie.

It's harder to hit this year. I don't think of it as "punishment" because I'm not four, but it is definitely harder to get hits on balls not in the heart of the strike zone. I think that's a good thing.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN what the poster is trying to say is very simple. Good inputs are not being rewarded as much this year as in previous years. Why is that so hard to understand? And the skill gap is closing. Why are you bashing him for this opinion? Which isnt really an opinion anymore. The game is not playing as well as previous years. Tons of people are stating this. Not just him. Calm down dude.

Yes, we know the skill gap is closing. What this [censored] is doing is stating lies, then coming at us for fact-checking him. Hitting is tougher this year, but as @The_Joneser_PSN said, isn't that a good thing?

@TheBigPapa55_PSN ok i didnt read everything to see lies. I dont think its a good thing that hitting is harder. Hitting has always been hard! Now we are making it even harder. And the skill gap closing in any game will never be a good thing. Better players are well just better players. I get crushed all the time. And I crush people.

I know what you're saying, but this dude isn't really saying that. What he's saying is good hits are punished more and bad hits are "punished" less. Does that sound "true?" It's harder to piece a ball this year, but, that doesn't mean it gets punished more because it doesn't. And he has no analytics to back up his dumb claims. Personally, I haven't seen anything crazy with the skill gap.

@TheBigPapa55_PSN I hear you also. No of course I do not think that is true. But.. that being said. I do think that the game does help certain teams during games at times. Giving our good input nothing and our oppenents getting hits on everything. Seems very inconsistent.

Again, also true, but I feel like this is how the game has been for a while. Nothing new, here. It may be more prevalent this year but MLB The Show has always been funky. The issue I have is, well, the elephant in the room.

I dont think its a good thing that hitting is harder.

Now, wouldn't it have been a much nicer conversation had you just presented your opinion like that, and I mine, instead of you saying it sounded like I worked for the company because I came to a different conclusion and spoke out against someone who I thought was being a complete shithead?

Perhaps I would have listened to my better angels and not called you a sheep, and you wouldn't have called me a ball licker in return, and instead of escalating, we could have cordially talked about the differences and their merits or shortcomings.

I have no problem when people have different opinions on the game; just don't be like that other guy and start insulting everyone who thinks differently. No need for tribalism in video game forums... I can certainly be a [censored], but I tend to do so in direct response to that (still not a good thing).

So... whether reciprocated or not, my apologies for getting out of hand.
