There's 'Open pack history' on the app, if you want to rekindle pack opening nightmares!
These companies can definitely make packs jucier. In HUT, the daily free pack gives 88's and up, all of a sudden! Here on The Show, they just want people to get frustrated and spend real
to complete the LS collection. The pack store this season is so predatory that it's just laughable. I just noticed the 'need more stubs?' notification/carrot dangle there. No, I need better pack odds! -

Other than that: I do no get the hysteria about getting 3 cards some weeks earlier. Ppl would never be satisfied no matter the odds

People absolutely do spend thousands every year. Most are streamers or you tubers but a few others do it because it gives them a huge boost early in the game cycle.

Yes, this is the entire business model of ultimate teams and gacha games. Its by a very enormous margin more profitable to have most of your players unhappy but have mega whales spending thousands regularly then having people happy and occasionally dropping $20

Exactly. I said the same in other posts. They would rather have 10 players that spend $1000 than 100 players that simply buy the game for $100.

100%. As long as the whales stay they don’t care if the player base drops by 90%.

It's fascinating to me that we have people complaining about pack luck while simultaneously saying they have pulled cards like Ohtani, Judge, Trout, JRam, etc. If pulling some of the most expensive cards in the game means bad pack luck then I don't get what would ever make them happy.

I have pulled Freddie Freeman when he was an 86 an that's it. I've opened at least 600 standard packs.

Because they have internal metrics and analytics that measure player engagement. Forum posts are actually one of the worst ways to measure user satisfaction.

I don't think so. It happened a few days later. I remember looking at my transactions right after and didn't see anything sell for anything near that amount.
