Been playing MLB the show since Papi was on the cover & can say in full confidence this is the worst one ever. It’s one of the worst GAMES ever, period. The developers haven’t put any real effort into this game in a decade & execs know they’ll make money so just keep pumping it out. If I can save one poor soul from buying this game, I’ll consider it a win. This company sucks dog water!

But, I guess it makes sense that one would make this dumb post when the profile was created 21 minutes ago just to create this one dumb post. Probably got banned and created another account. No one is truly sorry for your loss, even though some might say so. -

I've been playing since PS2 era too but skipped PS3 era but came back for PS4 and I dont think 25 is the worst ever.
Last years 24 was probably the worst ever close to 18. This year they listened and fixed some things but the interest in waning right now for me. Last year I think I gave up around June/July especially when CFB came out. And I usually play all year before 24.
I've said this before but a new management took over in 24 and it's still figuring things out. They showed us last year they had no clue how to run dd and seems this year they have an idea but still not there yet. Usually when a new team takes over it takes them 3/4 years to finally get it right. Let's see if 26 is where they get it right.
One thing I do agree with you on 25 is that the attention to detail is beyond lacking. MLBTS series was known for their attention to detail when it came to gameplay, graphics, smoothness, etc... 25 you get constant game crashes since launch. That black line in front of the players faces appear too often. And a bunch of other minor broken things that they haven't addressed yet. Maybe not a big deal but show's you the attention to detail for this current team doesn't match the previous teams.
I would say from the MLBTS games I've played, 25 is like bottom 3rd tier where 24/18 are rock bottom.

It's not one of the worst games ever but I've been playing since 23 and this is easily the worst of the three MLBTS that I've played. I'm exclusively an offline player and the attention to detail is sorely lacking in so many areas. I shouldn't constantly be wondering if the developers ever play the game they've created. I gave up on 25 a couple of weeks ago and went back to playing franchise in 23. I'm having fun in 23 again but it has shown how much this game has regressed over the past couple of years. Unfortunately, I don't have faith that SDS even cares at this point, especially for the offline modes.

It was even better in 20, 21 and 22. It’s been in a steady decline over the past 5 years with huge negative momentum the past 2-3 years.

I've only been playing since Xbox was added on... maybe 21 or 22???? but this one has been my favorite iteration. i've enjoyed them all but thought 24 was the worst of them.

21 was the GOAT and 20 was very good too. But I remember 20 the online crowd didnt like it but for offline it was excellent. 20 was the last ps4 exclusive game and it still has unqiue replays and other things in it that they took out in 21 when they went multiplatform.
My favs are 17/21/20.

… Most of. the game do not age that well at all. My advice to these people always is: Go back and actually play it. You‘ll find out how bad they aged … We got an awesome product at our hand here … could it be better? Yes, probably. But it is a heck of a baseball game on our hands -

Not saying that they're not lazy, because, quite frankly they are, but you'd know that at the very least 18 and 22 were much worse than the solid game we have here.
