1.3M in stubs to finish the AL:
Judge 600K
Ramirez 230K
Witt 300K
Trout 120K1.2M I'm stubs to finish the NL:
Lindor 110K
Soto 140K
Marte 130K
Shohei 700K
Tatis 200KThat's 2.5M in stubs.
That's 16 150K bundles.
That's $3,400 in real money.
NOTHING IN A VIDEO GAME IS WORTH THAT MONEY!

Ohtani alone is worth more than 500 real life dollars. That literally makes no sense. Especially for a card that will be pretty much obsolete in a few weeks.

All the free packs and stubs drive up prices...flip it to lower prices and everyone would be complaining there's not enough earnable packs.
They could lower the cash value of stubs, but I feel like that wouldn't change anything for you.
Maybe it wouldn't bother you as much if you don't even worry about real life dollar equivalent and just play. You'll get there eventually (but I'm sure you'll find many other things to complain about even when you do)

It’s insane this year, I’m taking some time off for myself, the way my brain works is I have to finish live series before I do anything else or buy any of the other fun cards, but I’m not enjoying playing anymore because I feel like I’m grinding and the goal posts keep getting further away, I feel it when I line out on perfect perfects or have bad luck. For me, the best thing is to take a sometime, enjoy other things and come back with a new approach to the game doesn’t involve finishing live series.
-
Which is why you should never spend that kind of real money and just get the collections done for free.
-
Sets and seasons we would have had options to wild card 99s already, just saying.
-
@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Nobody ever said you had to buy them. I got Beltran last week no money spent.
-
I have Beltran and Rolen with relatively no money spent ($100 on opening night that was spent poorly) and without flipping or any of that. I will say however that I've had great luck in my packs received from grinding (pulled Judge 3 times, Trout early, etc) But, I agree... things have gotten out of hand this year and I don't like the direction the franchise is headed. The couple tips I have is to not buy packs, yet save and buy players. Also, sell everything you pack that doesn't help towards the LS collection.

SDS doesn’t set the price of cards on the marketplace, other players do

@BJDUBBYAH_PSN you cant be expecting these guys to understand economics

I've been at like 750k stubs for weeks it seems, ZERO pulls and I was having a lot of good luck early in the year.
I need basically 1M (ohtani, soto, tatis, ketel, betts) and ohtani just keeps going up. It sucks. I'm hoarding stubs and keeping going thru my binder trying to sell commons and bronzes to boost my stub count by 5 cents.
So I too feel handcuffed to not go after any other expensive chase cards or collections.

They deleted his post while I was reading it
I didn't get to finish it either LOL

@CardinalBaseball_MLBTS you’re also a liar if you’re trying to pretend to be serious. I just wanted to call you out on that. You either flip like crazy or you spent a ton of money.

They do control the supply though

They could easily have upped the pull rates on the 90+ cards weeks ago and it would of helped if they didn't raise the cap on the max sell price on those cards. I've probably opened over 1200 packs and only pulled one 90+ once all year (in a may spotlight). They know what they are doing for some reason they want it like this. I don't see why though because idk about you guys but I would be more inclined to open up the wallet for let's say $50 to get some stubbs for an Ohtani, but I don't know who would be spending $500 to do so.

@VioletNine9_XBL I have no reason to lie to you about a video game man. Lol. What I said I did is 100% what I did. Grind the hell outta the game, save stubs, had a lot of lucky pulls. Don't know what else to tell ya!

I’ve had the live collection done since the first roster update. I’m now sitting on 2.7 million stubs. I have every card I want in the game. I’ve spent zero dollars in two and a half months. Before that I spent very little. In the next years game I will spend nothing but the initial cost of the game. My big secret method? Pay attention to real life baseball players, understand how SDS determines attributes and find the guys who are due an upgrade. Know quick sale value and buy the cards up at low prices in large quantities.
This “method” takes very little extra effort thanks to the app. Sit down to use the toilet? Make purchases orders on the app. I’ve read box scores since I was a kid in the newspaper, now I read baseball reference daily for about fifteen minutes and have had massive success. I had 167 Joe Ryan’s I quick sold today. I’m no genius, I’m a real life baseball fan who figured some things out. You can do it too.

Well … here is the second one, no flipping, no extra money, no market stuff, missed the launch week, got Beltran late April … How? Be smart and set a focus … but maybe calling out ppl is the easier answer for you

No, it is not … So do not do it. There are enough good cards for less. LS will come down, focus on something else instead … As I always say: Your thumbs matter more than cards
