@iBonafideScrub__PSN I'm happy for the folks who don't have the time to grind. Just would have been nice if they had told us they would make it really easy to attain the Finest voucher eventually so the people taking part in the grind they created could have played with the lineups they wanted, not the ones benefitting their TA grind.

I understand how you’re feeling. I grinded until maybe 3 weeks ago when I decided to return to the game when the 95s dropped, so I wasted some time too.
I believe the probably did it because a lot of people are way behind in most TAs or stopped playing altogether like me and they want us to return.
They need to find something for grinders like you to have, something that is very rare/exclusive and let only you guys have it.

@RealMessiah_XBL maybe a slight L for those like you who have done an insane amount of grinding to get 18 AS vouchers already... but for the vast majority who have none or just a few.. this is a huge W.

I'll take this for sure. Between August-June I work [censored] near 12-13 hr days 6 days a week. Another 3-4 on Sundays driving around checking fields. Being able to play for a few hours here and there actually keeps me grounded.
More and more I'm seeing people not working and just either collecting unemployment or disability OR purposely choosing to let others pay for their existence. I understand there are exceptions and some folks have no choice, but more and more it's becoming a choice.

Just don't lock in the color storm cards then you'll still have the grind to do

I'm sick and tired of people assuming things about their lives.
For example, I play a lot because I have incurable cancer and am on constant chemo. So I was forced by my health into a really early retirement from teaching.
I've lived longer than expected but I can guarantee I won't see my daughter off to college, get married etc
But you work a lot. Good for you

That’s like shooting yourself in the foot. He should capitalize on the grind already done, this 150K will maybe push him near the end.
What he doesn’t like Is the fact that they designed the program in a way and then tore it up all of a sudden, which makes him feel like his time could’ve been allocated better and his lineups could’ve been constructued with players he enjoys using, instead of players that were going to contribute to his the grind.

I don't mind it.
They obviously don't want to lock people out of their favorite team's all star or finest card. This boost will get me the Cardinals Finest and then I can not worry about it. It's the only one I will get done. If people want to grind that is still a lot of grinding to do it for all teams.
The only explanation is that they looked at the data for all players, and just not those in the top 5%-10%, and saw less progress in the TA programs than they expected. They can't lessen the stat grinds and remain fair to those who already have done them so this is a catch up mechanic.
And as far as the Team affinity My Journey timeline I think it would be cool if they gave out Gold Versions of those cards between the 365K mark when you get the Finest and the 1.415 million. That is a lot of extra points to get for an icon that nobody will see if you are an offline player. Those icons used to show here on the forums too but that seems to have stopped.

@Dolenz_PSN If they designed the TA as it waa originally and didn't know a small pct of the player base would have significant progress in May, they are idiots.
Just looking at it on day 1 it was pretty obvious it was a months long grind that would be unattainable for 30 teams for a high percentage of their player base.

I don't think they did it so we lesser mortals could get all 30 done. I think they did it so many players could at least get their 1 favorite team done.

This should help crash the LS market. Packs are going to be flowing pretty good now. And those 88s and 89s (like Ketel Marte) should really come down now that there are better, free options at some of these positions. I’m glad my buy order for Ketel didn’t go through at 90K last night. He’s bounced back up but I really am holding out hope that those LS cards will drop a good deal by early next week

W for me....
I play a good bit and I'm prob on a fine pace. Outside of getting the jolt cards I wanted I really didn't put much effort or attention into team affinity...It's just like at whatever pace I'm at is what I'm at.
So getting 150k and HOPEFULLY pulling something of value so I can finally get beltran is more important to me than ASG vouchers or these new cards

I posted something yesterday saying that "I have enough stubs to finish the LS collection but I'm waiting for prices to come down".
That post has not aged well.
I mean, they have to come down someday... Right? Oofff.
