Still no packages during challenges

Achieving challenges for packages still isn't fixed and I'm not quite sure how that have been fixed yet or people just aren't playing RTTS anymore because it's that broken and boring really if there isn't anything to grind for. I am so frustrated I pre ordered and paid $100 for this. Unfortunate because I enjoyed 24.

Are you talking about equipment packs? They got rid of that because people were manipulating it.

If you're referring to the Boss Challenge equipment packs, they should still be earnable, they're just not guaranteed anymore. Are you not seeing them at all?

@SDS_JoeK_PSN they come up and when I do see that there is a package involved, I get excited and complete the boss challenge like it asks but it never gives "success" message thus never getting the equipment package reward.

Are you passing the challenges? In other words, are you accomplishing the required goals/objectives?

@SDS_JoeK_PSN I do fail half of the time but yesterday actually got on base (single) and challenge was to get on base.

Ok, cool. So, there was an update a while back that made it so those rewards are no longer "guaranteed", but if you complete/pass the challenge, you have a chance at those rewards.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN a chance? Why are those of us who like these packages having to pay for those that exploited these packages? Really it just makes the game unenjoyable and nothing to aim for anymore.

So if I’m understanding correctly. The game presents a challenge for a package and sometimes even a perk. I complete the challenge successfully, and it says I fail the challenge. Example “record an out without throwing a pitch outside the strike zone” for a perk and a package. I strike with 3 pitches in the zone, and it doesn’t even acknowledge it at all. Then it comes to the end of the game and it says fail.

@CBmegatron8_XBL Yes, that’s exactly what’s happening to me. It failed me every time I completed a boss challenge today. I would say about 7 or 8 times. I’m a pitcher for this specific player. It happens sometimes on my batters but certainly every time on my pitcher.

Same happened to me just now. Boss pitcher, chose hit a double or better for 3 tokens and equipment pack. Hit a double, nothing, challenge failed after next batter strikes out (while I'm on second). When I get the boss challenge that DOESN'T include the equipment pack (3 tokens + 60 pts) that one works.
@SDS_JoeK_PSN this is not new. Fully half the challenges are just straight up broken, a lot of the pitcher ones too, and practically all of the challenges that say they award perks are broken. For something so integral to the game mode, you'd expect them to work. Someone on your team for sure needs to go through these challenges one by one and fix them.
