I've been trying to complete the AL East to get O'Day, but no matter how much I save, Judge's price keeps rising. I have enough stubs right now to get Tatis and finish the Padres to get Hoffman, but it will essentially be starting over to get Judge.

I enjoy using both O'Day and Hoffman and would place them among my top 10 relievers. I'm wondering if it would be better to get Hoffman now and O'Day later so I can at least have one while they're still relevant or if I should just keep chasing the pink dragon that is Judge. Any input would be appreciated.

Go for Darren … I do not see Hoffmann at all online (besides my bullpen, but Darren is more of a weapon)

I think this answer here is right.
If you're going for online probably O'Day. I personally have Hoffman and do great with him, but that is all offline. If playing online O'Day is probably the better choice.

ODay has that funky delivery. Hoffman was one of the best closers of all time but his card this year is not up to specs. I feel like people sit on that change up and even if hit the corner it gets destroyed. From a set standpoint ODay gets you close to Clemens, completing the Padres gets you trying to make stubs to afford Ohtani. On the other hand Tatis rakes and his defense can change the outcomes of games.

Hoffman is my choice by far! The man had a '"Bugs Bunny,'" changeup that would move sideways, sink, or float, and confounded hitters for fifteen years. I have used him many times over the years in this game, and I can get plenty of outs and strikeouts with Trevor. As far as O'Day is concerned, he was very good set-up man that threw a great fastball and slider from his nasty sidearm delivery, I have used him in many situations in the past in middle relief and set-up situations to make batters look foolish, but; I have been rocked when using him as a closer, and he sucks when he is tired. Darren is still a great player, just not as good as Trevor.
