Really bad playersIf you don't fit in one of these groups, you probably don't have good pack luck. I know, some clown will say they pulled 2 Trout's and don't fit into these categories but for every you, there will be 10,000 people that don't pull diamonds that don't fit into these categories.
My only pull for player over 20k stubbs was my first year. Not a coincidence.
My first year playing DD (‘17) I only pulled 3 diamonds (Thor, Thor and wait for it...Thor).
In ‘18, I pulled Thor 2 more times along with JoRam and Lindor.
Last year I pulled Thor 3 more times, but it was only the gold versions. I only had good pack luck after I finished the LS collection. I pulled Trout literally 2 weeks after I purchased him using stubs from selling off SS cards not in my squad. Pulled Arenado twice after his priced dropped. But those pulls did help me buy cheap SS cards for the Wagner collection. Most were pulled after the 3 pack bundle of headliners came out.
Kinda disappointed we can’t QS locked in cards this year but I get why the decision was made. Just probably won’t get it done this year. Have only pulled Alonso from my digital deluxe packs on early access night. Nothing but golds from BIAH. Nothing but silvers from twitch packs (if that). Nothing but bronzes so far from the TA “fire” packs.
My pack luck is straight booty cheeks! That’s why I haven’t bought one yet!

Actually, It can be done by this time with no money spent, If I saved all the stubs they gave out for playing and completing stuff plus I do flip cards I understand not everyone has the time to flip or chooses not to. I would have had the collection done with no money spent. I have bought all the 5 packs for each HL. That 22,500 stubs per set. We are on like set 9 roughly 200,000 stubs wasted on just HL. Not counting all the 10 pack bundles I opened at 15,000 stubs each. Yeah It can be done if you save your stubs to buy players. Some people have pulled the high diamonds in the free packs we get from the dailies and TA.

We'll never know but I think your chance of getting a diamond pull is much better if you fall into one of those categories. Of course, there will always be outliers but fairly rare.
Businesses do these things to reel you in.

I did buy a 50 pack this year. First time in 3 years. I know the likely outcome based on my earlier statement but bought anyway for the hell of it. I didn't get mad when I didn't get anything. I knew the probable risk.
Do you guys really think people that run these games think about your best interest? They think about what will make them the most money. It is a BUSINESS. They know the things that make people keep coming back, buying stubs, packs, etc. They know how to reel you in. You are very naive if you don't think so. Conspiracy no, common sense which a lot of people in this forum seem to be lacking.

I usually get solid diamond pulls every year though nothing too crazy. This year I got arenado and scherzer and a few other diamonds but I dont really play online.
I'm one of the weird ones that enjoys the grinds and playing here and there making whatever stubs I can. I had the whole collection last year because I was allowed to quick sell diamonds but this year,I'm not sure. Still have 7 teams left so gonna be tough but I'm having some fun playing away earning what I can

I’m One Gerrit Cole away from Biggio, spent $20 on stubs. If I were you I’d probably wouldn’t do it, personally I lose a lot of interest in the game once I’ve completed or given up on the live series collection.
