Packed Shohei- Sell or Collect?
-
Just packed shohei not trying to flex just want to know what is the best thing to do right now. I have 300k and no collections done. Should I sell him, hold, or collect? What are y’all doing
-
If you are going to sell than sell right now. Don't think it over the weekend.
-
I’d keep. Completing all the collections is going to cost you way more than 300k + selling Shohei. May as well keep the most expensive one and continue the grind.
-
Yeah I would keep it as well, unless you just have no desire or intention of completing the live series collection.
-
Not to mention he’s playing pretty well so the risk of him getting downgraded and getting cheaper is low. If you were asking about Trout… I’d sell high and reacquire later.
-
I would sell him immediately. I imagine I would get substantially more enjoyment and use out of 560,000 stubs if I divvied it up and bought 15 other cards. If you're really set on finishing the LS, then keep him. But I don't mind waiting until the season is over when even 90+ LS cards are all going for under 25,000 and when stubs are flowing like a frat guy peeing off a roof.
-
Man, that's a nice problem to have. Good on you. I'd do what @SchnauzerFace_MLBTS says and sell, but I've never been a Beltan fan... use that "found money" recklessly and enjoy it.
-
@The_Joneser_PSN Beltran is a dud. I used him once and benched him because Astros shouldn't have cards other than the live series. However Ohtani unlocks Fernando Valenzuela. Fernando is kryptonite to those who are amped up for fastballs but cannot lay off offspeed pitches.
-
do not sell rare ls diamonds … best advice at this stage of the game cycle
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN, I went against Fernando once in RS and had a lot of trouble... granted, I tend to have a lot of trouble hitting well off of anyone, but Fernando got me good.
I did use Beltran in one BR entry, and while I got a few hits in a handful of at-bats, I felt dirty doing it. I'm with you on the Astros.
