No-Doubt Home Run Camera Selection
-
I can share this feedback with the team for sure. Thanks!
-
The new home run cam throws me off every time. I'm instantly like, wtf, oh guess I hit a homer.
-
If you use the Broadcast Camera for In-Play Offense, the no-doubt HRs are absolutely beautiful. If you can get used to all other hits using this camera, it’s worth it. Not sure if any of you guys have tried this but it sounds like what you’re all wanting to see. Give it a try.
-
@PlayoffPressure_PSN I tried using the broadcast angle but most of my HR cameras would follow the ball path, but I guess this is because it wasn’t a no-doubter. Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a try
-
I can confirm you still get the front facing HR camera even when you use the broadcast fielding cam.. so…
-
@Yanks99-27_MLBTS Broadcast Fielding camera is a different thing. You want to change your In Play Camera under Batting to Broadcast.
-
@Mattsskii_PSN Yeah - what I recommended was for no-doubters. They look amazing.
-
@Mattsskii_PSN Yes, I hit one in Diamond Dynasty and I didn’t even know I hit it perfectly until after the replay, also I want to see where it went like you said.
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN thanks for responding and passing on the feedback! Any chance we get something in the next patch?
-
Nothing planned for the next update, but I've passed it on.
I can tell you that when I did, the team told me they already had it on their radar, so that's positive. It doesn't guarantee anything, of course, but still positive.
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN Thank you!
-
@SDS_JoeK_PSN is there a chance this change was in today’s update? If they did address this in the future would it be listed in the patch notes?
Thanks again for the open communication on this btw! -
I’m still holding out hope for this, would be awesome if it’s part of one of updates
-
@Kels1919_PSN -- Just to manage expectations, this is not included in today's update and I can't give a concrete answer as to when it might be. Very much a "wait and see" thing at the moment.
The moment that changes and I'm able to share more, you guys will be the first to know.

Thank you for keeping us updated!

@SDS_JoeK_PSN you’ve been awesome for keeping us in the loop Joe! Thanks again !

It’d be great to have options. I personally wish I could turn the HR cam completely off and just have a broadcast view of the ball leaving the park.
This is what I want. I can't believe we still can't turn the HR cameras off. I don't want to see it.
-
@richmadky_PSN I feel like if your cameras are set to broadcast the HR cam should automatically be off. But ultimately just having the option to turn it off would be awesome.
-
With each new patch I’m starting to lose hope we will ever see something for this
-
I really wish they could update this for a different cameras or better cameras such as someone's from actual MLB games are pretty good and kind of cool looking down the line or even from the perspective of the outfield. ... The only thing I do not like about this is there have been foul [censored] that show the home run cam but they're foul by 1 ft or 2 ft or even [censored] of hip off the foul pole. If it's a no-out home run, how is it off the foul pole?
