Its really getting old.
I save up my packs this weekend.
So i had 93 Show Packs, 14 BIAH Packs, 1 Jumbo, 12 Twitch, 9 Headliners.First Headliner got Raul Ibanez, ok not great but ok.....nothing the rest of the way, til the Jumbo then got Altuve....c'mon thats really a joke. In 93 show packs, 0 Diamonds 6 golds...wtf.
It makes the game not fun. Forcing the player base to buy stubs (nothing wrong with buying stubs) is not a good model.
Yes nobody is forcing anyone to buy stubs....unless you get EXTREMELY LUCKY, or saving up stubs, but with the influx of silvers, bronzes, commons, even the sale price on those is barely above Quick Sale.

@LIONED-33_XBL I know you don't want to hear this. But needing to buy stubs is what makes it a good model. For them of course, not for us. But that's how any kind of pack collection thing works. Be it digital or not. If you want the rarest cards you either get lucky or you have to pay market price for them. You don't have to like it, I know I don't but that's just how it goes.

Welcome to the Unlucky club I am Zero money spent did all the content online and offline and best pull was Skeens and I have been on a Diamond drought for a week probably 100 packs 30 balling few headliner packs and only 1 Michael Harris

@LIONED-33_XBL I did exactly the same and I pulled 8 diamonds with Acuna; Gunnar being the most expensives and some random 85s … That doesn‘t proff anything tho since I pulled close to zero the prox 200 packs before that

It's insane and infuriating. I've had similar pack luck, and it just makes the game exhausting. I've never gone 10-0 in BR, so for those who can, hey, good for you. But players who don't devote their lives to this game rarely do. The crappy packs with low value cards makes it almost impossible to buy the cards, and combined with the poor odds of getting valuable cards, really makes the game a mindless, tiresome grind. The reality is it takes well over 2 million stubs (maybe even closer to 3) to complete the Live series. And without finishing the Live series, you're not going to get to the Rolen card (and even that requires more pack luck or a LOT more stubs). It's ludicrous. And I resent having to play players who have all the 99 cards online when I have little chance of seeing any of them for a good, long time despite playing the game regularly. (And then, of course, you'll encounter those players in something like BR who'll immediately thwart any chance of going 10-0). It's worse than any time I can recall and really diminishes the fun of the game when you have to seemingly grind forever and still not have a shot at completing collections or getting the best cards until mid-season. It's obvious they can control the pack luck, and it's obvious they're severely limiting it. And I refuse to buy stubs. I pay enough to play online each month and having bought the game originally. I'm not giving them any more of my money and resent the attempt to get me to do so.

@macdaddy-o_PSN Here is the thing. I get it, they need to make money, its what the game is about, but the lack of transparency gets old. They say pack odds haven't changed, but they have, maybe not in writing, but anyone who has played this game longer than 2 years can see it. Am i quitting? No. However, i'll be more inclined to play other games and put the show on the back burner.

I pulled Altuve in a Junbo as well. That's kind of fishy, meaning certain Diamonds will not be pulled in Jumbo's.
It is frustrating, having a ton of packs, thinking 'this is the day for a gatekeeper,' then striking out again.
Does the 'color' you first see determine if you're pulling a big fish or not, as in the past?
All I've seen this year is purple. -

Pack luck has been incredibly streaky for me this year. I think my only diamond in the last week that I pulled was Logan Gilbert.
Then last night with only around 15 standards, 2 BIAH, and 2 Headliners I pull:
Elly (15-20K)
Mason Miller (25-30K)
Ketel (90K)I was grinding some serious Team Affinity to earn those packs.
Lesson for today kids is if you're truly grinding hard
and earning a ton of packs, you will pull some high diamonds eventually. If you only play the game an hour a day, unless you have good luck, you are not likely to pull high diamonds. Volume, volume, volume. -

The pack luck is horrendous, no way you can convince me that it’s not a ploy to just purchase stubs. Didn’t use to be this bad or obvious.
Pull some diamonds eventually if you grind? Friends, we’ve been grinding. Hell, you’re lucky to get gold players so far. Sick of doing missions/conquest/programs and then, rewarded with packs that are total trash.
And before anyone says “play the other sports titles and see how good we have it”…sure, but that’s not something to boast about at all.
