Dear the team at San Diego studios, Ihave always played and enjoyed the show for as long as I have lived. But something always bothers me, the feeling that it is not fair whenever I play a ranked game, And that’s because of hitting modes like directional and timing. Ranked modes are supposed to be about raw skill and since to hit with these modes you only need to hit a button, I feel it isn’t fair. With some form of pci you have to physically move the pci to the ball while having good timing to get a good hit. While people who use directional to timing just have to press a button. Making it easier to hit pitches and home runs in ranked. So I feel like since ranked is supposed to be skillful, people should have to showcase it. How exactly is it easier to hit homeruns or get hits for that matter with directional and or timing hitting? And how do you even know what your opponents are using, oh that's right you DON'T

I agree with OP but only because it stinks when I join a random co-op game and my teammates are using these methods. I am not good enough to carry a team.

While they're at it, they should also ban the use of low response time gaming monitors. That makes as much sense as banning directional and timing.

I'm going to take the counterpoint here. I have a neurological condition that sometimes affects my left hand. There are days its barely working, but I still want to play the game I love. So, I go directional. Its much easier for me to pick a direction and try to time my swing properly. I know I'm at a disadvantage competitively, but I love to play so much I don't care. I'm simply having fun playing a game I love.

If timing and directional gave an unfair advantage then all the try hard streamers would be using it. They all bought xbox consoles a couple years ago becsuse they thought xbox was better. Do yourself a favor, play a game, hell an inning, using timing. It's trash.
It also needs to be allowed in ranked for children, old timers, and people with disabilities.
