Joe Torre in Game as manager
-
I noticed that Joe Torre will appear in coach hiring after 1st franchise season.
SDS, why not add other legendary managers? Such as Tommy Lasorda, Sparky Anderson, Earl Weaver, Connie, Mack, John McGraw, and Casey Stengel. To name a few.
Also, it's about time that players that retire in franchise are able to manage & coach after retirement. I would love to see someone like, say, Austin Barnes become a manager. Because he probably will someday. Since he's a catcher. It would also be amusing to see someone like Tatis, Jr or Ronald Acuna, Jr become managers. Especially given Acuna's comments concerning Kelenic not hustling & getting thrown out at 2nd after pimping a HR.
I'm sure that other Show players other than myself would like this.

Why can’t we just make our own so we can do this. I’m tired of Coach random in DD, would be nice to make a coaching staff there. Just translate that to franchise for max fun for us.

@sullivanspring_MLBTS I think he's a B level manager. I forget what his primary attribute focus was among stamina for starters, contact for batters, base running, etc.
He's also 58. I laugh when I scroll though the coaches and some of them are listed as being in their 60s but they look like their 30s.

I saw him play and hated it when the Cardinals fired him as manager. If he's in the game I'll hire him.

Just stick him on your bench and use your imagination.

He will be managing the Midwest Farmers whether he wants to or not.
