PS5 Overheating

My PS5 has started overheating ever since I started playing this. Never had this issue before this game. I have taken apart and cleaned the PS5 and had a fan blowing on the back and it still overheats every 5 minutes. Extremely disappointing and frustrating that I can’t play this game after I paid $100 for it and am losing all progress each time it over heats. Am I supposed to buy a whole new console just to play this game?! Hope this is resolved soon…

There is a suggestion in another thread to change your pitching camera to one behind the plate, like Strikezone 2 or 3.

Mine also has been overheating- I hope they address this soon!

I can confirm that changing from pitcher center to Strike Zone 3 stopped the message from appearing. Beforehand, my PS5 sounded like an aircraft taking off when pitching. No other game or view gives the overheating message so I suppose it is solved.

OH WOW! I had this same issue at launch! I did notice that when I changed my pitching view or pause it would cool down instantly. I had a first generation PS5 and was plaining on upgrading to the PRO for sometime, so I pulled the trigger when this started happening.....dang!

@LordCarton_PSN I had the same problem buy a fan for the back they're cheap. You could check Amazon.
