I just don't get it...

I know this post has been numerous times before. But why when a card is priced to sell at let's say 24000, would you undercut that order by 2500 stuns at 21500? Is someone trying to intentionally keep the prices down? I get that you're trying to get it to sell but whether you undercut by 1 stub or 5000 stubs you're card would be the next to sell. The whole point of selling the card is to make stubs right?! Why would you short yourself 2500 stubs? Plus now the next guy with zero brain cells comes in and undercuts you by 1500 stubs. Now the cards down 5000 stubs from what we all could have made. I just don't get people's logic on this. Rant over

Do you know how that person acquired the card he is listing. Perhaps he pulled it from a pack and doesn't care about other people's bids. He knows it is unlikely to be underbid if he erases the profit margin. Or perhaps he bought it with a bid at midnight for only 18000 stubs and is till making a profit of 1350. The market is fluid. Put in your bid for a modest profit and go look at other cards. You will make way more stubs if you diversify. Also if you aren't fixated on that one card you won't notice what other people are doing.
-
You kind of answered your own question when you noted that the next guy will just undercut the lowest price anyway. So maybe they just wanted to try and go low and make sure it sells quickly so they can use the stubs rather then put a price thats just 1 stub lower and get undercut and have it sit there. I would guess some people don't want to sit there and monitor the market all day.

If someone is newer to the game, they might not understand exactly how things work, or think they'll miss their window to sell the card & the price will drop as there are more cards of the market or a better card comes out and people lose interest. Which sometimes happens. Sometimes supply outpaces demand. And you can't control what other people do.
I mean, jeez, look at the people who don't even list their cards, and just sell them to the highest bid, that is lower than the lowest listing price.I try to pick what I feel is appropriate & will sell in about a day. If it's just 3 yahoos, those cards will go in a few minutes and the market will correct itself.

@splattz35_PSN I'll tell you why some people offer up cards for less than just 1 less than the next guy.
- They don't care about what others thinks about their price.
- They aren't worried about those "lost" stubs.
- They don't want to play the -1 stub game.
- They want to just get rid of it, but still get more than Quick Sell or Sell Now prices.
- They are not concerned with "playing" the market.
- They are not "flipping" cards, so they aren't concerned about profit.
- They are only focused on playing the game (to include selling cards) the way they want to play the game.

I just want to know how you can use the word 'stubs' everytime except the first time.
-
Well you are all free to think and do what you want of course. But none of it seems logical to me. At the end of the day you're losing out on stubs you could have easily had. And I seriously doubt most people playing this game would think these reasons made sense either. But thanks for the feedback anyways.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Congrats on your error free existence spelling bee champ. I got one I can spell correctly!

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN Don't forget the misspell of "stubs" as "stuns".
-
@dap1234567890_PSN
Yeah u already pointed that one out there champ! Nice comeback -
@splattz35_PSN Are you as dumb as you post? When did I point out your misspelling before the last post? You are a clown!
And if you (the correct spelling of "u") meant what the other the guy posted, I am thinking he meant to ask why you didn't use the word "stubs" after the first time you (again there's that easy word you can't spell because two additional letters are so difficult for you) post a number you didn't mention stubs (or the object of that number described).
Also, explain how that was a "comeback" when I wasn't "coming back" for anything said by the other poster? It was a more of an "add on" rather than a "comeback"

@splattz35_PSN it makes sense if you don’t give a f*** about stubs. How is it so hard to grasp?
-
@yankblan_PSN it's not hard to grasp. Just not very bright. Carry on
-
@splattz35_PSN yeesh, so not having the same priorities is being “not bright”? Way to live your life buddy.
-
@yankblan_PSN no not wanting 2500 stubs when the whole reason to sell a card is to make stubs in a game where stubs are the currency is not bright buddy

OK folks,
Let's dial things back a bit, please. We can have a respectful discussion without name-calling and insults.
Thanks!

@dap1234567890_PSN my fault thought other troll was responding. So no you're still incorrect it's more of a "repeat" or "echo" of what he already pointed out for no other reason than to be rude.
