I had only played 3 games in ranked and was 2-1, so I'm in bronze 1. I'm not a fan of online play this year at all but I figured I would give it a go. Went 5-1 through the first 6 games.
Game 1 - won 4-2. Much sweatier than it should have been. Opponent struck out 16 times. Santander bailed me out with 2 HR.
Game 2 - won 7-0. I had 18 hits so the score feels like it should have been worse, but I couldn't get runners home consistently enough.
Game 3 - lost 7-0. I quit in the 3rd inning on this one. Was definitely outmatched by someone who really shouldn't be this low. I did let his 2nd 3 run HR land before quitting out.
Game 4 - Won another 4-2. Pretty even matchup so no real issues with this game.
Game 5 - Won 3-0 even though technically would have been 7-0 in the 3rd. Opponent dashboarded while a Santander grand slam was in flight.
Game 6 - Won 8-6. Grisham was a monster with 3 2 run HR for me.Online has lots of issues but overall this wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be. There will always be moments where you feel like you got robbed or your opponent was gifted something, but it is what it is at this point and really isn't worth caring about.

Update: Opened the packs I just earned with my 2 wins … netted me prox 70K … got Soto, got the NL done … with zero flipping done @MarioMendoza935_XBL

4-2 in bronze. Didn’t belong there but I haven’t played ranked except for fun with commons on April 1. Got smoked by someone who DEFINITELY did not belong there. Felt bad in a couple of games, but others were competitive. Nice XP, tons of packs. Pretty happy overall. Looking forward to the next one.

Gold II. 1-1. Scored 7 runs each game and averaged 18 hits a game. Those are the only games I will be able to play.

A whole bunch of nothing. Maybe a couple golds. No diamonds.

4-2 in silver2. Idk how the leaderboard works tho, there’s a guy with more losses then wins at 2nd in it but his rating change is 178.

Finally go to play my 4th game. I was 657 going into this WC. Lost my first one to a WS banner player. Dropped to 624ish won my next 2, quite easily. Up to 687. Just played another WS banner. Lost 11-9. Asked him after what his record was he said 26-3. I don’t mind losing. I’ve said before love the idea of WC, but the execution is awful. I have 2 games left I’ll get too. But man really leaves a bad taste in players mouths when you limit diamonds and allow players to tank for the best rewards in their tiers.

@Dinger_Dan19_PSN that's what I'm saying, I'm losing ground but winning games. and the leaderboard has changed, like different teams. no idea how they have the standings formatted, but I don't think it's working as intended.

Yeah the leaderboard is a mystery to me. It keeps changing who is even shown and sometimes it shows me as the only person on the board after a game.

They better fix the leaderboards asap. It would be nice if we got some communication on the issue though @SDS_Adam_MLBTS

Went 4-2 in silver 1. My two losses were to guys with world series badges and team batting averages over .400.
SDS definitely has to do better in the matchmaking department.

Ended up going 4-2 in Gold II
Not mad with that. Could have played better in those two losses on legend
Ultimately, I just hope SDS addresses the rating tanking issue, losses not negatively effecting your leaderboard placement, and the issue of leaderboard accuracy altogether

4-1, with one game left to play… choked my fifth game in late innings and lost in extras. I’m in the 700-799 rating range.. probably shouldn’t of one a couple of the first four too being honest lol

4-2 silver 1, nothing from packs.
Most impressed with how even my games were. every game felt like I could have lost or won, which is great by my standards.
2 complaints, First game my starter ran out of juice in the 2nd inning, hadn't given up a hit, less than 20 pitches. Obviously a glitch, Andrew Painter, first time using him online.
Secondly, the leaderboard is so whacked. It changed like 5 times (different teams) and at one point I had lost like 10 spots, after winning 2 games in a row. so not sure how it's supposed to work, but that can't be correct.
overall, my games played great, which is most important. I would call it a success, with a few small adjustments needed.

2-4 on gold 1 … I ran into a lot of very good players. All my losses were deserved because they hit insanely good

How is it possible that I go 6-3 with a rating increase of 203 and their are people in front of me on the leader board that are 6-8 with and increase of 311.

@Ww2geek_MLBTS well, you didn’t get a 203 rating increase going 6-3 for one. The way it’s supposed to work is current rating - league minimum (for example silver 2 would be 600).

Only reason I can think of is that they possibly beat more higher rated players in those 6 wins
