What happenes to cards of players that have been suspended?

So as a Braves fan, I have been focused on getting Braves cards. Got the Live Series Jurickson Profar, followed by the New Threds version.
Will these cards be removed, in the next update, or will I be allowed to keep using them?

He will be a free agent but you can still use the card.

In 2022 when Tatis got popped, they demoted his card to Free Agent and took his card out of packs (meaning you were no longer able to pull him from Standard, BIAH, Headliners, etc.), which ultimately led to a shortage and his card exploded in price.
They may do the same for Profar, though since it's only an 80 game hit and he should be back by the end of the year, they may not bother.

Profar has already been removed from packs (both live series and New Threads versions). He is still in the Braves’ collection right now but should be removed in the next roster update (Friday?). His live series card might get more expensive between now and then. The New Threads card may end up being one of the rarest in the game (probably rarest gold for sure) and therefore steadily increase in price. It’s not required to get Santander but it’ll likely remain in that collection if you already have it.

I grabbed the New Threads one, I would be annoyed if I was one card shy from getting every card come end of the year if I choose to do that this year.

Near zero chance they put him back in the packs. I wont be using him for collection so if they do add him back I should be able to fill a buy order at the time and get my stubs back if I really need them.

Are they gonna remove him from collections then for Live Series?

In the past, they’ve moved suspended players to free agents when they do the next roster update (even if it’s just a transactions update). Technically, he wouldn’t be removed from live series collections entirely as he’d show up under the free agent collection.
