Does using pinpoint pitching online give you the best advantage???
I've used Pure Analog for years on the show offline in my franchise modes, etc. But I've noticed recently in the past few years that when I use PA online my opponent's barrel everything and can score 5 plus years an inning. But when I switch it to pinpoint pitching, I am able to get outs and go like 5 scoreless innings against the same opponent (in game switch).

It’s been said that pinpoint is the best and most accurate. I tried it a lot in practice. I’ve tried it in game. On the ps5 it just did not work right imo. However I played around with it on Xbox today for the first time and I wasn’t crazy about it. But it did seem a lot smoother and supposedly it’s the best way to pitch.

Just my input from a guy who has played both consoles. If you are on ps5 good luck.

Pinpoint is the way to go. It has the best results … if you do not trust me, watch all the pro players on twitch. Everybody is using it.
If you are on xbox, buy another controller since the stock one has input lag which makes you miss some pinpoints

@YOSHI24_XBL do you prefer to use a kontrol freek on the stick you pinpoint?

I do not. I do not feel they would help me (and I do not like them overall 🙂 )

If you can master analog, it is the most precise input; but, PP is the easiest to replicate over and over compared to analog.

This reads like a contradiction … it may be the easiest for you (as Pinpoint is for me), but if you watch all the streamers/Pro Players from the tournaments, there is only one answer. 99% of the big boys use Pinpoint, because it is the most precise and easy to replicate of them all

@YOSHI24_XBL nope; it’s harder to master analog than PP, but if you 100% analog from the timing to dropping the ball in the basket, the ball goes exactly where you aimed it, not inside a PAR.

PP is easier to 100%, has a smaller PAR (more forgiving if you miss slightly), so in aggregate for the average player is better. But if you can perfect analog, it is the way to go. I didn’t believe it last year when someone challenged me, but it’s true.

@yankblan_PSN if this should be true, then all the comp guys (those who play for the big money) are either doing the wrong thing or 🙂 or just do not know how to master analog (Weens did it last year, he switched to pinpoint this year) … Either way, I cannot deliver „more proof“ 🙂 . Nobody is making more money off the game than Alex, Kriner, Frostie & Co 🙂
