No Roster Update Today

Smh. Should’ve dropped last week when the season started. Between the bugs that haven’t been addressed, the Stadium Creator not working right, and now not having proper rosters to use until who know when … poor customer service if you ask me. Be better SDS!

@ncbravesfan82_MLBTS No roster update today? That’s absolutely ridiculous SDS. You pay the price for the game, you should expect the updates to roll in early and often. I haven’t started franchise for this exact reason. The Yankees roster and team look is BS right now. FIX IT!

@ncbravesfan82_MLBTS This is one reason, as a franchise player, I’ll never buy early. The game is never ready and they’re still working on adding scanned players through August/September. It’s mind boggling and frustrating.

Nope. Didn’t have Ian Anderson on the Angels or JC Herrera on the Yankees or Sugano on the O’s. Probably others missing as well. Not a true OD Roster. And I get it … they have to be in a game. Well, they all played and yet, here we are with them still not in the game.

TBH when Bobby Witt jr wasn’t on the cover we all should’ve known this game was gonna be booty. They’ll add all this new content and programs for the stupid card game but can’t even update the rosters ? Hardly any new face scans, it’s unplayable for franchise guys. Way too many people missing! Look at the list I made. Can’t wait for GTA6 and a bunch of other good games finally coming so I can be done with this recycled franchise for good.

Today was a big DD push day on social media so we should have know they wouldn’t put out a new roster update because that would take attention away from their DD stuff today.

I'm sincerely going to try to be respectful in this post. Whoever works for SDS that reads this, please take pride in your work. Just because you have my money already, just because you have the other people in this thread's money already.... that doesn't mean our feelings are irrelevant. You should strive to make us as satisfied as possible with your game.
We're not asking for much... just face scans and proper rosters. That's it. A team of 5 employees should be able to do this in one work day without issue. Respect your customers. DD is your money maker, fine, but I'm telling you it's a slippery slope to ignore and quite frankly [censored] on your other customers who gave you their hard earned money so they could enjoy the Franchise mode of your video game.
Have some pride, and strive to make every kind of MLB The Show player satisfied and happy. There's NOTHING stopping you.

The lack of effort is pathetic. How do they have most of their batting stances but not their face scans? Makes no sense. They’ll have face scans in their system for years before they release them. It’s Almost laughable at this point. They barely added anyone and the ones they did add are old relievers that I’ve never heard of bc they’re ’minor league lifers. …. How is Tyler Fitzgerald, Tyler holton, beau brieske, Jose Soriano, Justin Slaten, Wenceel Perez, colt Keith, Bowden Francis, Matt Shaw, will wagner, Joey loperfido, Jordan beck, hunter goodman, Brett Harris, Seth halvorsen, Landon knack, Kyle hurt, Justin wrobleski, victor vodnik and so many more that have been playing since last year or the year before still not in the game… all they will continue to do is content for DD. Franchise is dead, realistic baseball is dead, just some lame pokemon game now. 2k or EA have to get back in the MLB game somehow or I’ll never play a baseball game again. Thank god for GTA6 and a ton of good games coming soon. After today I’ve just accepted that this game is dead for franchise players. It’s been out almost a month and they haven’t touched the rosters

Tell me why they’d need a “crystal ball” to put face scans of the guys listed above (stars who have been playing since at least last year) by the time the game is released? What’s “ridiculous” is a person who plays franchise spending $100 for the same roster that someone who waits a week and spends $70 will get. So go ahead, if I’m being “ridiculous” by wanting updated players from the previous year, why would I spend $100 when I could spend $70 a week later for the same product? Wow us with your wisdom.

@bleachfro_MLBTS buy the game whenever you want to buy it. But expecting perfect rosters at launch is yes ridiculous. And if you want face scans you need players to be 1) available and 2) willing. That's unrealistic at best. They do the best with what they have. And are kind enough to update the rosters throughout the year at all.
Back in the PS2 days you got the roster you got in march and you lived with it. People just complain to complain when we are getting a good game every year.

Times have evolved so why be content? I do not care so much about the face scans but not having correct contracts and updated recent trades and contact extensions is very very simple. Legit could be done in a few hours. Since end of spring training, maybe 3 trades have happened and maybe 8 extensions. That would take a coder 10 minutes to do LOL
