Whats with the packs???
-
I had pulled 2 diamonds in 170 packs since the game came out and today I pulled 4 in 30 packs ( 2-85's 1-86 and 1-87). I guess keep the faith?
-
It’s simple flood the market with non diamonds. Drive those prices down and make people buy stubs to buy the diamonds they want.
-
@theBlindRhino_PSN Of course you didn't.
-
My luck has been terrible - the ratio of pulls to pack openings has taken the fun out of it. I get it, if everyone pulled Ohtani/Trout etc. it wouldn’t be fun either. Just wish there was some other cool stuff to pull that was either worth stubs or fun to use in game. Just sick of what feels like 4 commons and a bronze virtually every pack.

Gonna be very hard to complete collections this season anytime soon if there continues to be so few of the higher end Live Series diamonds being pulled. I’m assuming one of the issues is that there are way fewer packs being opened with the game not being on Game Pass. Way too many $100+ cards required. Maybe when better pack and program cards come out, the live series cards will lose some value.
-
So normally, I will save stubs and get the highest priced LS card. This year with diamond pulls being nerfed and every other card so saturated driving prices down I saved up 400k Stubs. But I couldn’t buy ohtani for that price previous years Trout was always 250-300. Instead I completed a whole bunch of other collections and will take my chances on pulling him or him dropping in price
-
I have opened over 200 packs and NOT one diamond. 20 years you think you would improve this. When you buy a pack it says 1:50 chance to pull a diamond play. I guess I’m unlucky and have missed the 4 diamonds I should have pulled by now. What a joke!

That is some incredibly bad luck.

I think I'm on a 200 pack drought. I really want to have Mike Trout on my team, so I'm on that journey. No money spent team... I'm at 50k stubs and plan to just buy him at 160k in a couple of weeks. So far I've completed all of the conquest except the apple one, completed ALL of the programs for players and should get to 500k XP in a week or so. I've pulled Rodriguez, Witt, a few 85 rates pitchers, and purchases Elly for 25k.
-
I just hit 300 regular packs, bias, and HL packs and haven’t pulled anything. The only diamonds I have gotten are ones I have bought. It’s becoming a sad joke
-
Yes packs are incredibly underwhelming to say the very least they should boost the odds and add a discount stub weekend this is fn ridiculously absurd there’s no way in hell someone should spend 99$ on 150k stubs and not leave that pack opening without a few high diamond pulls it just leaves your community salty af and is bad business full stop
-
@Xmas-Reeper_PSN as long as people keep paying they aren’t changing anything. They’ll just keep moving the needle down. I don’t care if someone buys stubs or not. I’m not asking for diamonds every pull. Right now they are working us and laughing all the way to the bank

@NOWLTZKI_MLBTS I call [censored].

… without a few high diamond pulls
A few high diamonds?!?? Well, this is funny. The game reflects the card business. I bought a few Topps Boxes irl … and guess what: I did not pull Rookie ARod in the 90s … and I guess not everybody is pulling Rookie Paul Skenes buying the expensive boxes
-
@YOSHI24_XBL How many Ohtani, Trout, Betts, Witt, etc cards did you get? That’s the actual comparison.
-
you are a fool. you could have just brought the cards you wanted directly from the market with that money
-
I had my two best pulls of the season today within 10 the show packs of each other. Marte and Alvarez live series. Still none of the super high priced live series I'm feeling good about where I'm at with collections to this point.

No, it is not. You are expecting to get the 100+K guys way too often. Ohtani is a 90+, he is more rare than say Mookie with his sub-90.
Sub-90s are more common to get than 90+. The prices vary because of how much people like them. Trout is higher than Mookie, because he is Trout, that makes him more expensive because people will not sell him that often. Prices will drop when more and more people have had more and more packs. That made more and more Ohtanis and that will eventually bring prices down.My comparison was from real life. You will not pull a Rookie Skenes if you buy a box … maybe not even 2,3,4,5,… because he is rare. The supply of those rare cards is not that big, that makes his price

Its so random, haven't pulled a diamond in what feels like forever then got Soto from my pack for log ins
-
Ok .. Drought over. I pulled a Trout last night.
