*NLB Cards - Team Affinity*
-
SDS needs to implement the NLB cards into DD better.
Storylines is a cool mode and a lot of the players they've added over the last few years are very fun to use, but they literally add no value to your squad within Team Affinity which is set up to be the primary year-long grind. If you fill your entire lineup with NLB cards, you get zero progression towards TA. ZERO. They need to add an extra tier where maybe (x) PXP using NLB cards gets you (x) XP towards each team and if you really want to incentivize the fanbase to use these players make it repeatable as well.
They obviously put a lot of thought and care into Storylines which makes it hard to understand why they would deliberately give you a reason NOT to use these cards. With there being so much to grind towards especially with the updated TA format, people simply aren't going to use cards that don't work towards that progress.

A simple fix would make a free agent team affinity where at certain levels grant you vouchers to use on any team affinity you see fit.

Funny something I suggested days ago....or say ever have their own team affinity for stronger cards or just gradually add to each team's stats. But they could use stats for their league record so you don't feel it a waste to use the players

Give an Evolution program to each of the Storyline cards.

Funny how after jeter storyline last year no new storyline this year......I mean ohtani would of been interesting or someone else entirely. I did enjoy that

Probably because there was no way they were gonna hand out a free 90 Ohtani when the LS one is fetching 400k.
I also think having a year-round Evolution program for these cards through Storylines would work. You'd be able to keep them relevant by releasing better versions throughout the season similar to the Jackie Robinson program from 2020.

@ShadowWalker166_XBL Well, Jeter’s career was pretty unique: 5 WS, 3,000 hits and it’s a HR to boot, rivalry with Boston…
It could be fun with Griffey, but less meat
