Of course someone with Yank in their name would stir the pot. Obviously, I love baseball and I enjoy the game, what part annoys you? Me wanting Red Sox players especially to be life like and real? Or the part I expect there to be improvements on each installment? You make no sense, so let’s have Aaron Judge be 6’0”, long hair and mustache, and they call him number 99, you have no complaints? Everyone wants their guys to be in the realm of the real player so stop chiming in any time you see a post from a player that spent money, just like you, that wants an update to something in particular that matters to them, save your venom for mindless trolls here to annoy anyone here for the right reasons, because we love the game and want it to be the best for the year we play it.

@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN first of all, yank has nothing to do with the Yankees, I’m a Brewers fan.
Second, I’ve stopped playing Madden, NHL and CoD years ago because I didn’t like them anymore for different reasons.
Third, your long whiny post showed I touched a nerve by pointing the idiocy of repeatedly buying something that disappoints you and makes you angry every year.
You must be the type of person that stays in a toxic relationship because it’s better than being alone. “It’s the only baseball game we have” is a weak justification. During football and hockey season, guess what I play? It sure ain’t Madden or NHL.

You didn’t read very well then because I stated nothing but facts. Too many people like you come into these boards just to trash anyone that voices a logical opinion about the game we are all here discussing. I similarly stopped getting 2K years ago because it was repetitive and the Myplayer mode was way too greedy with micro transactions that I’m just not into with any games. Multiple people are merely voicing their disappointment that like 2K, SDS puts too much emphasis on DD making that experience top notch with all the players cards with real pictures but then you play offline mode like me with franchise and then you get cartoon player cards and not even updated player models from last year, sorry that’s an issue obviously to not remotely update the highest rated players on each team at least. Point is we’re all here for realism or else we would be playing Blitz and Barkley Shut Up and Jam. If you want Jackson Chourio or any of the Brew Crew’s studs to be completely wrong looking then great but I would like Garrett Crochet to look like a real guy not some random CAP, not asking for a lot.

I’m 100% not contesting the validity of your dissatisfaction, we all have them to different degrees. What I don’t get is people that have the same issues year after year that seem to conjure so much anger but they keep buying the game, even preorder the deluxe edition, and expect things to be fixed.
Take the custom stadiums guys; no blog, no pre-launch stream, no social media publication mentioned anything about fixes or upgrades and they still get the game and yell here.
Read the blogs; watch the streams; they have one for every game mode. If something that bothers you is not addressed, chances are it’s still an issue. Or wait for release and ask questions here and check user reviews.

No video is showing Garrett Crochet will be same random guy as last year, literally his card is right there make the dude resemble himself. Honestly, one of the worst player builds, especially for high 80’s ace, you can’t get that wrong. I agree with the insanity of thinking coming on here to talk about things that can’t get fixed or aren’t realistic, players likenesses is fortunately one that is fixed and sometimes to amazing results. Last year they updated Duran and Casas and they smoothly changed in my franchise, they need to do the same updates across the game as they clearly didn’t update before launch which is pretty crazy with the whole engine being in place. I love the game never complain about that, always roster related so it would be great if they ramped up the updated builds I’m sure there’s someone on your team looking weird too.

@Dolenz_PSN they all have face scans? I must be playing a different game….. btw the non face scanned pitchers are unusable bc their hardest change up is low 80s, the hardest sinker they can throw is low 90s, way too many glitches and bugs with the created players that aren’t face scanned. So no they’re aren’t technically in the game.

Where in my post did I ever mention face scans? I did not even realize this was about face scans? They just said that they were not in the game.
I simply pointed out, and correctly I might add, that the original poster's history on the forum is one of not only constantly criticizing the game but also insulting the devs at the same time.

@MAINELYBOSTON_PSN haha I AM A YANKEES FAN! And as a Yankees fan I would gladly work with a Red Sox fan to push for a completed game. Gameplay is tight they been had that down and I would say they improved it even more this year, just clean up the game and I’ll be satisfied.
People will try to troll you when they see your pissed, but stay true, same thing is going down with Madden but they have way more issues, at least the gameplay is good. But no matter how good the gameplay is, all of the game modes lack depth, especially RTTS and similar game modes are just so poor compared to like EA Sports in the PS2 Era.
I just posted a full list of players missing player cards who are on the default MLB rosters that have a card in DD. Unfortunately this doesn’t nearly cover all players I would like to have a card but it’s a start. Hopefully they start updating the default roster throughout the year instead of just forgetting about it.
