I've been thinking of years how simple it should be but why don't we have bullpens for custom stadiums? Like I don't have to build one or add one but make it part of the field. It's been years and yet never bullpen just people warming up on the side. Really want to make a stadium that looks realistic but yet not enough add-ons. It's the small things that would make it way more enjoyable for people pls listen to the people cry's San Diego like come on man

This and moveable foul ground have been the most requested by creators AND most ignored by SDS. Why, I have no idea

I would settle for stadium creator to simply work right now. Haven’t been able to download stadiums from this year or last or upload anything.

Well, it's "general", so we are allowed to. Plus this gets more attention than the actual Stadium Creator section. We've got every right to be in here with our requests too, ya know.

SDS treats create a stadium like they do most secondary features. Get a year or two of support and into the black hole it goes. Think about it, when was the last time we got an update to the logo editor or the uniform creator?

That's true. I mean it how long did it take of Stadium Creator being one of the more sought after things, before it was put into the game? Had to be AT LEAST 5 or 6 years. Then when they do it, they half a$$ it and then ignore the simplest/easiest requests to make it better

Tell him! I put his account on block a long time ago, so his trolling comments like you quoted don't even appear.

I think you're entirely correct in this assessment.

I've never understood why all the props at all the stadiums (like Bernies slide, cause I'm a Brewer fan) they are already in the game, I don't know why, it don't seem like it's very difficult

You're drilling down to the heart of the issue, and I'm afraid to say it reveals an ugly truth. You are correct. Putting the props that are clearly in the game's official stadiums is certainly easy to do. Moreover, the nuances such as bullpens placed behind the outfield walls, batters eye props that can support integration with stands and concourses, plus standing fans, all are easy to implement. But, we get none of it. Heck, even something so simple as adding the yellow stripe to the top of the outfield wall and down below the foul poles is nothing more than a texture file -- one of the easiest things to do in rendering computer animations.

But, we get none of that!

The answer is clear and can only be explained by one conclusion. We don't get these things because the executives at SDS have decided they don't want us to have them. What can be the motivation behind such a decision? Again, there is really only one logical answer. SDS does not want us as customers to be able to render stadiums that rival the official productions within the game. In short, they don't want the potential competition.

It's about control of their brand. Yes, you can make stadiums and play in them. But, SDS is going to ensure that no matter how talented and creative you may be, those custom stadiums are going to be a serious step below the official stadiums in look, feel, function, and replication.

This is something we have all talked about ad nauseam. Both here and reddit. They're at the bare minimum a little aware that a few creators rival, if not surpass their own designers. At this juncture, I'd settle for a new base template that ISN'T jewelbox, and moveable bullpens. And properly proportioned seating options.
