Al Kaline, 11 hits, 4 extra base hits, 2 HR in 7 games mission

This game is something else.
I breezed through this mission. For the HRs, I sat on fastballs up in the zone.
No tricks, not using directional, only normal swings. I finished the whole thing in 5 games.
What I do easily, others struggle with and vice versa.I blow through this no problem, but I cannot beat the 2nd inning showdown if my life depended on it.
I bet some of you struggling with this, blew through the 2nd inning showdown.
It's funny how life is.I tried it last night and yeah that was hard, Did not have to hard of a time doing Kaline moments. I think next time I try the showdown for 2nd inning I am not doing it vs CLE I am going to try vs the Blue Jays you face the CP who has two pitches and you can tired him out but you will go into needing more runs and might only have 1 or 2 diamond players.

had it all but an XBH hit with 3 games to go...1 hit, a single, in the last 3 games....FML
-
adapting to Hall of Fame, then going to rookie is just the worst. You're super early on everything, and the PCI is so big you're always getting less than stellar contact. Managed to score 9 runs off singles in that "Homer off John Means" moment, without a single XBH
As for the Al Kaline moment, it was tough, the first day, but I got it yesterday after adapting to rookie
-
I wasn't having an issue getting the hits or even non HR extra base hits. But it was a grind getting the HR's. I didn't dashboard but it took 5 or 6 attempts to get that 2nd HR. I had a ton of good squared up and perf, perf not come close. When I finally finished, both my HR's were opo shots wall scarpers lol. Id say play the first game and reset the challenge if you don't hit a HR in game 1.

It might say rookie but the sliders say otherwise.
Yep. I can tell by the nasty breaking stuff they keep dotting corners with, and bronze relievers throwing Nolan Ryan curveballs. The trouble with the game is, in part, you cannot see the break of the seams on a TV screen the same way you do when you play in real life.
I forget which game it was but back in the day one of them flashed a color on the pitchers hand to give you a tip as to what pitch was coming, I always thought it was such a great idea even if they only used two colors, one for fastball one for everything else it would still be way more realistic as most professional hitters aren't just guessing as to what is coming.
-
I finished it with 2 games to spare using ps4 remote play on my iPhone. I just used directional hitting and aimed up and to the left the whole time. Perfect perfect gets home runs sometimes
-
Bad advice. Maybe you suck. lol I did it no problem.

The normal hits werent bad it was just the XBH and the 2 HR's were really bad. His bat is so slow with no power, you really need to square it up for it to go.
The bat is soooo slow. I feel like I have to swing as soon as the ball leaves the pitchers hand.

The only hard part of this was the second HR
I have hit the second HR several times, but each time I do, I am always 1 or 2 hits short. Or vice versa. I hate when people come on here and say how easy a challenge is. We get it. You are better than 99 percent of people struggling at the same mission. So either contribute helpful ideas, rather than bragging, otherwise you are bringing nothing to the conversation.
I am sure the reason it's so easy is why I have gone from Level 98 bronze to Level 6 silver just trying to beat this challenge, alone.
Guess I should’ve put “for me” since everyone on this forum is a snowflake and takes a statement as bragging
Well, in fairness, it pretty much is bragging. And also, using the word snowflake every time someone has a differing opinion than yours is "snowflake" in of itself. Have a great day, irony aside.
Well if saying that I can consistently get 11 hits in 7 FULL rookie games is bragging, then that says more about you than me. Also “snowflake” has nothing to do with differing opinions and everything to do with defensive, easily offended people. Have a good one.

I feel like he’s more annoyed at the fact that you expressed your feelings about what was hard or not given it’s irrelevance to what he was asking. In no way does someone care or need to just because you posted it. Get your head out your [censored] dude.

So I’m not allowed to express my feelings unprovoked on a forum? Also please show me where I asked for anyone to care about what I said. If you’re gonna come at me telling me to get my head out of my [censored] at least make some sense.

Only way I could homer is oppo. This mission is total trash
-
Got it done first try only had to dashboard twice.
-
you can dashboard before game ends to not reset progress. i needed just the homer going into last game and that’s how i went at it
-
Not really one for doing these challenges only done AG one but Woods Granderson and AK I haven't done these ones yet got all 3 after DD games is that normal?
-
The last home run always escapes me, always.

Just wait for the 'beat the Tigers on All-Star' part.
I don't know what was going on, but i had to win
in the bottom of the 9th on a Juan Soto 2-run hr.
I'm good at the game, but was SHUT OUT by the
TIGERS until then!!!! I broke my monitor because
of the frustration. I used my 5th starter so they
would use theirs, but i couldn't score anything!!!
I hurled my 'The Show' Cap at the monitor. Now i have
lines going through like this

Dumb move, but i was in disbelief, and a little drunk, honestly.
If i lost 1-0 i would have retired from The Show right there!Funny how so many times that 5th starter pitches like a god....and you barely plate any runs
